The signup count for Season 20 powered by Tt eSPORTS is 295 teams (we had to remove a couple of teams because they did not have enough players). The divisions may still be subject to change, there is no guarantee for anyone except those teams who earned promotion or stayed comfortably in the middle of their division.

Swiss System Changes: How to prepare for Week 1

The Swiss system has finally hit the main site, and we’re ready for teams to submit their available playing days for Week 1. Usually you would have more time to submit these, but it’s been a squeeze to get this out in time – so bear with it for Week 1 please!

Every team signed up for Season 20 (except for Premiership teams) needs to submit their available playing days by Saturday 23:59. You can do that through this page and selecting Edit Availability for your Season 20 team.

• Select between 1 and 3 consecutive days through the dropdown.
• Select a preferred time and time window for each day.
• Click Save Changes! You’re done!

That’s all there is to it for now, this should get you started for Week 1. There will be a “Swiss System FAQ” page listed on the site sometime when the system is 100% completed and we can guide new players through in-depth.

Premiership Fixtures have been created, please schedule the games as you would normally with the Week starting this Sunday. (Because of the late notice, default dates will be delayed so it would be much appreciated to add the enemy leader asap and get it scheduled fast!)

Final Tiers will be released tomorrow night, and fixtures will be created on Saturday at 23:59! HYPE!

Due to technical issues with the lobby system a lot of teams were not able to play their scheduled group stage matches. We apologize and have changed the way the remaining group stage matches will be played.

Saturday 24th January

If your team has any unplayed group stage match, you will have to schedule it to play it with the opposing team.
We will not use the TF2Center tournament system so please schedule this if you want to progress to the next round.
The deadline to submitted the results is Saturday 24th January 23:59 CET

So please check your team page for any unplayed matches and add those opponents on steam.
See the bottom of this news post on how to reserve a server to play on.

Any unplayed match before sunday will be nullified.

Sunday 25th January

The knockout round has been postponed to Sunday the 25th, it will follow this schedule:

Knockout round 1 — 19 CET to 20 CET — cp_snakewater_final1
Knockout Round 2 — 20 CET to 21 CET — cp_gullywash_final1
Knockout Round 3 — 21 CET to 22 CET — koth_viaduct_pro_rc4

Sunday 1st February

Quarter Finals — 19 CET to 20 CET — cp_logjam
Semi Finals — 20 CET — 22 CET, best of 3 maps, teams get to pick (see explanation of map elimination)

Reserving servers on serveme.tf:

• Browse to serveme.tf
• Click on “let’s play”
• Select an available server
• Select the map that’s going to be played (see your match page)
• Scroll down and select the “etf2l_6v6_5cp” config
• Select league whitelist
• Select etf2l_whitelist_6v6

And click save

Copy the information that is listed behind connect information and share that with your team and opponents.

Enter the connect info in your in-game console and play the match!

Season 20 powered by Tt eSPORTS – Fundraiser Showmatch

A celebration of quirky European ways like poor personal hygiene and crowd-sourced prize pots is on the cards with  Admirable &  Sideshow slipping their filthy fingers into your virtual wallets in the name of competitive Team Fortress 2. Every trick in the book will be used to part you from your money for the greater good of the Season 20 Fundraiser.

Title sponsors, Tt eSPORTS, have offered up a Tt eSPORTS SHOCK Headset and a Tt eSPORTS Ventus Mouse which we will be giving away to you, the lucky viewer. All you’ll need to enter is a Twitter Account and to be watching the stream. More details will be announced during the show as to how exactly you can lay your hands on those tasty hardware morsels.

The Teams

The birth of this Se7en squad marks the return of kaidus after taking a season off to rehabilitate his wrist and lurk in the shadows before swooping during the dying days of Season 19 to snatch up kaptain, zoob, wltrs and  Hafficool from the rotting carcasses of Planet Express,  coolclan and Politically correct pander. Early results in pre-season practise and the Sunshine Cup have confirmed their status as contenders.

Ze Knutsson Rollerbladers seemed all set after taking silver last season, but the recent surprise departure of  zappis for the bright lights of CSGO streamer stardom had left the roster exposed with possible question marks over rookie soldier amppis and the erratic  Knutsson on medic. A shrewd acquisition in the form of  Starkie has seen off the decline in their stock and opened up several possible viable roster configurations with both himself and  Zebbosai more than capable of playing scout and soldier to the highest level.

Season 20 powered by Tt eSPORTS – Playoffs UPDATED

Addtionally to the above listed five six core teams four three teams have the chance to fight for the three two remaining spots in the Premier Division. Those four three teams are (in alphabetical order):

• Saints

The schedule for these playoffs is as follows:

Match A: Sunday, 25th 21:15CET

• who is? vs Saints

Match B: Monday, 26th 21:15CET

• LEGO vs Team Colonslash

Match C: Thursday, 29th 20:00CET

• who is? vs Winner of Match B

The winner of Match C advances to the Premier Division.

Match D: Thursday, 29th 21:30CET

• Loser of Match B vs Loser of Match C

The winner of Match D advances to the Premier Division and the loser of Match D will have to play in the High Tier.

The two winners will go straight to the Premier Division and the two losers will face each other in a final best-of-three on Thursday, 29th 21:15CET to decide who will fill the eigth and last spot.
