First things first: the Fundraiser

Our Fundraiser has had a great start, collecting already 750 € in only 4 days! Thanks to everyone that contributed already; whether it was on stream of the first showmatch, an item or a donation at our indiegogo-page. As serveme always says: You guys rock!

New information regarding singups

Time is running out, clock is ticking. Remember, signups are only open until 20th of June. The weekend will cost you only 85 € , housing included! If you did not sign up yet and you lost the link, click here. After filling out the form, please transfer at least 382,50 € (half the amount for 9 players) to MTA. Payment info will be given to you once you have filled out the form. Only the payment completes your registration. You don´t transfer the money, you do not get a guaranteed spot at LAN! We still need teams, regardless of their skill-level. There are no minimum requirements to participate!

You can come to LAN, even if you are not playing!

After talking to our hosts we agreed we would accept “tourists” for the LAN. Meaning people that did not find a LAN-team, do not want to play and just hang out and meet with their online friends to enjoy the athmosphere, as well as spectators can come and be a part of the event! Maybe your team wants to play with backups as well!? If you are amongst those, feel free to contact me on steam to talk about the procedure, as you cannot just signup and transfer the funds using the link above.

Alright, Alright… This week´s matchup is going to be the real deal!

Following up on our checkers vs Stacked game from last saturday (missed it? Check me out!) is the clash of the two best teams from Europe and North America!

Tourettes Chessclub is facing America´s reigning UGC Platinum Season 15 Champions Kids Next Door this sunday, 7th of June at 20 CEST.

While  Tourettes Chessclub was able to defend their premiership title just recently, Kids Next Door managed to beat  harbleu´s Menace to Society in the Grand Finals as well as in their regular season matchup. With Kresnik, Nursey and Dimento having played for PremTech in ETF2L Season 8, Kids Next Door might just have an advantage as they faced their opponents twice last season already! Who will prove superior? Do not miss this match and the chance to win an unusual hat while watching top-notch Highlander. BlackoutTV with its casters CeeJaey and sigafoo (also EU vs NA) will bring us all the action once again!

Season 21 Premiership Week 3: Danger Dogs by TF2Pickup.net vs. Tony’s Tigers

It is canine versus feline when  Danger Dogs take on nerdRage.tf2. Danger Dogs fell against The Last Resort in week 1 but not without getting their paws on a couple of rounds first. After some team bonding against LEGO they might have found their stride, but building blocks and predatory cats are two different beasts. With viaduct_pro in play .kr4tos is going to have a hard time keeping his teammates healed and healthy with Flippy prone to scoping in on heads. Viaduct however is a map where upsets are prone to happen and if Danger Dogs can get the pressure on early we might have a nail biter on our hands. But they will have to hinder scout superstar Zebbosai. Join Samski, kaidus and Jon at 21:15 CEST to find out who truly is man’s best friend.

Season 21 Premiership Week 3: LEGO vs. WOnderland

It’s the grudge match of the season when LEGO face off against Wonderland again. The Danish mainstay of competitive TF2 lost out against these upstarts in the Premiership qualifiers and was fated to play high if not for the saving grace of Lethal Weapon collapsing. Now they have their chance for revenge against Wonderland and to prove that they truly belong in the Premiership by crushing Graba’s passion and team spirit. Both teams are sitting at the bottom of the table with no points to their name so this is prime opportunity for them to put end to that. Will Wonderland end up as Winderland or will LEGO methodically dismantle them? Join Sideshow, TurboTabs with a yet to be announced cameraman at 21:15 CEST.

So we’ve reached the third week, teams in the lower tiers have gotten their games under way but it is not until now that we get to see what the Premiership players are up to. First out this week are 4-25, sitting at a shared fourth place in the standings and they will be looking to keep it that way by crushing prtyboiz and leaving them with zero points once again. prtyboiz has had rough start due to playing both Se7en and nerdRage.tf2 who sit firm at the top of Prem. But 4-25 have also faced Se7en and lost, but put up more of a fight than tonight’s opposition did. It’s up to Dennia and Hank to kick it into the next gear and put the pressure on to 4-25’s flank. They especially need to keep Forsak3n from having free reign on the scope.

Rounding out our week once again is The Last Resort tonight they will be pitted against the up and coming Wonderland. Graba’s team seems to be struggling with keeping an intact roster with players coming and going as they seem fit. Meanwhile The Last Resort’s initial roster shakeups have been worked out and HYS’ crew is going strong with Russian wunderkind ShaDowBurn on fire. It will be up to the Wonderland flank to put him out. Passion goes a long way but Wonderland need to turn up in great form to stand a chance against medal hungry The Last Resort.
