Recent events, such as the influx of third party betting sites to the TF2 scene, has lead the necessity of an updated ETF2L rulebook. Here are the new rules, effective immediately:

Different types of fraud include (but are not limited to):

Any decisions made will be at the discretion of the admin team and all circumstances are going to be taken into account.

Naturally the usage of alternative accounts or other people as betting proxies is also forbidden, accomplices will face a penalty aswell.

DeutschLAN HL Showmatches: checkers vs. Stacked LIVE @ 20:00 CEST!

Date May 30, 2015

It’s that time guys… HIGHLANDER SHOWMATCH!!!

Join European jakeowaty, England Morphine and England Jon on BlackOut TV from 20:00 CEST for an evening of great TF2 action from the first showmatch building up to the DeutschLAN Highlander event in mid-September, European checkers vs. Ireland Stacked (& friends)!

Germany DCS – While Ireland b33p will most likely have to use a few mercenaries to patch the Ireland Stacked roster, since their season has been over and they have not been playing for a while now, European Tourettes Chessclub will compete with their LANroster European checkers to give the community a glimpse at some of the glory the champs are going to bring to DeutschLAN. The seasoned premiership veterans Denmark Scissors, Sweden Khazul, Germany quintosh and UnitedKingdom BreakfasT_Jr will show the “new kids on the block” Austria Raptor and Netherlands Nik the (premiership-) world in Germany. Sounds like an interesting mixture… only one question remains: who will be the guardians for those two at LAN?

Don’t forget to place your bets on Saloon.tf as 5 percent cut on this game will help fund the prizepool! Also, donations for the prize pool will be taken throughout the evening via imraising (100% to prize pool) so you can get a popup on stream with your message!

Signups

Before we dive into it, we want to remind everyone to sign up your team! We cannot make this happen if you don´t, so make sure to click here.
IMPORTANT: You can bindingly register and book the house by just paying 50% of the total (382.50€ if you do not arrive early on thursday) fee for your team. So if you know you will go, but you do not have all 9 people yet, you can still sign up and pay the rest later. Also, in case this was not clear yet, you can pay for all 9 players of your team at once. You do not have to pay per house, but per team. So in case you have not sorted out housing yet, that is not a problem! Please note, there will be no refund of the 50% for signing up in case the event happens. Make sure you can gather 9 gamers!
Signup deadline is 20th June! That might seem a little early, but the guys over at MTA have to make sure we can actually fill this event.

We are excited to announce that the elite of the Highlander scene believes in our project and wants to help us make the fundraiser and the LAN an unforgettable experience for everyone! We will be hosting a series of showmatches to entertain our donators and promote the fundraiser. Every week for the next month at least two top-notch teams will battle it out live on stream, during which you can cheer for your favourite player and hopefully abuse the donate button as much as you like!

This week’s matchup:

Kicking things off this saturday, 30th May at 20:00 CEST will be Chessclub´s DeutschLAN squad vs Stacked (& friends).

While Ireland b33p will most likely have to use a few mercenaries to patch the Ireland Stacked roster, since their season has been over and they have not been playing for a while now, European Tourettes Chessclub will compete with their LANroster European checkers to give the community a glimpse at some of the glory the champs are going to bring to DeutschLAN.

Make sure to catch all the action this saturday over at our friends from BlackOut TV with UnitedKingdom Bulow, England Morphine & England Jon, who will provide us with an expert cast for what should be an entertaining evening of TF2 and place your bets on Saloon.tf as 5 percent cut on this game will help fund the prizepool.

This cannot get any better? Well, we beg to differ. We heard the US-boys will make an appearance on next week´s showmatch… If I were you, I would stay tuned for any updates about that one!

Season 21 powered by Tt eSPORTS week 2: Danger Dogs by TF2Pickup.net vs. LEGO

Date May 28, 2015

banner-s21-v1_595x

Both of these teams lost out against top level teams last week, so those matches may have been an unfair assessment of where they belong. Now they face one another on the two final1 maps: cp_snakewater_final1 & cp_gullywash_final1. European Danger Dogs did manage to claw some rounds off of International The Last Resort while Denmark LEGO got smashed into their individual pieces by European nerdRage.tf2. Hopefully Denmark Dr. Phil will give his team the counseling they need to get over their issues and bring the fight to the Doggies. But will his team handle Scotland sheepy dog's hand and UnitedKingdom scrab harassing the flank? Join the very British lineup from Caster of the Season runner up UnitedKingdom Sideshow, England torrit debuting as a caster and England Jon on camera duty at 21:15 CEST.
