Sideshow’s View: Week 6 Fixtures

Date March 2, 2016

Season 23 banner 2.0

The second to last week of ETF2L Season 23 is upon us, and surprisingly the playoff run is still open for almost every team. That certainly won’t be true after this week, and four teams in contention will be incredibly disappointed with their results. Perhaps they shouldn’t be, given that even the bottom of the table teams will have better records than their predecessors in most previous seasons. Teams have been trading maps like Pokemon cards recently, and it shows no signs of stopping.

Our maps for this week are Gullywash and Product. Product always throws a curveball into the mix; as a completely different game-mode, teams practise koth less, and it also has quirks that may play to the team’s strengths or cause vulnerabilities to show. Let’s take a look at the fixtures this week and how the teams line up:

Date February 24, 2016

Season 23 banner 2.0

Would a season of Prem be complete without a triple header? Some would say of course not, other would not say that. Regardless here we stand with three games and three streams once again.

Full Tilt vs. Lego

First out we have have the schedule vendetta to end all schedule vendettas when Denmark LEGO take on European Full Tilt without their token Dane Denmark Dr. Phil. Full Tilt will thus have the upper hand when it comes to Danes as Denmark Thalash will be keeping the Brits at bay with scout partner Finland Astt. Tune in with UnitedKingdom CommanderX, UnitedKingdom kaidus and England DavidTheWin.

Foreskings vs. Planet Express

Israel Foreskings have had a swell season so far drawing each fixture save for their latest game against European Se7en. On the other hand Finland Planet Express have been struggling to live up to predictions following their win in the Preseason cup. Will this be their redeeming game or will Foreskings prove too strong for them? Tune in with Ireland Admirable, International Twiggy and Scotland Sim to find out.

dd + 5 abs vs. publiclir

Oh, so you’re not satisfied by the other dishes well here’s a meal for you with Swedes and some six packs of muscled meat. Yes it’s European Velocity eSports taking on Australia shredded autism. shredded autism hold the distinction of being the only team to take points off of European Se7en so far, with a golden cap loss. But Germany dd5f will do his best to lead the abs to victory wielding the shovel of motivation. Casted by Canada Dreamboat, drshadowpuppet and Germany Suyooo over on stream three.

Season 23 powered by Tt eSPORTS Premiership Week 5: nerdRage vs. Team Infused

Date February 23, 2016

In what some might call a surprise upset European Velocity eSports took two maps from our first combatant of the evening European Unexpected. This recent loss will perhaps be the motivation they need as they plunge themselves into a difficult fixture. What makes this fixture so difficult? Well it’s against European Se7en, they’ve been reigning at the top of the Premiership for quite some time now, in case you missed it. Being oce part of the team Netherlands skeej might have an insight into the mind of UnitedKingdom kaidus but teams do evolve . Tune in with England TurboTabs, Denmark Beater and Germany Suyooo as they guide you through this tuesday tour of TF2.

Season 23 powered by Tt eSPORTS Premiership Week 4: dd + 5 abs vs. Team Infused

Date February 21, 2016

Season 23 banner 2.0

In a comparatively undramatic turn European Velocity eSports decided to change their roster by switching out Germany feeling for Norway qnx in the Pocket role. This will be the first official game since said change. Velocity eSports were slung abs first into a baptism by fire, being faced with the two top teams European Se7en and European Full Tilt in Week 1 and 3 respectively. Despite that they have managed to hold their own against Finland Planet Express. Their adversaries for the evening European Unexpected, have managed to fight their way to a healthy 4 point lead by taking maps from Denmark LEGO and Israel Foreskings. Will the new pocket be enough to topple the unchanged Unexpected? Tune in with Ireland Admirable, UnitedKingdom CommanderX and England DavidTheWin to find out.

Season 23 powered by Tt eSPORTS Premiership Week 4 Double Bill: Full Tilt vs. Publiclir & Lego vs. Planet Express

Why hello there, how are you? Oh, you want something to do this evening. Well my dear I have a couple of things that might interest you. Oh you already know about the two games from the title, you are a clever one aren’t you.

Full tilt vs. Publiclir

First out, well on stream number one that is. We have for your viewing pleasure: European Full Tilt facing Australia shredded autism. shredded autism are vying for a playoff spot, but a string of ties and a Golden Cap loss to European Se7en see them sitting close to a number of teams in the middle of the pack. Snatching away some points from a Full Tilt who are missing their fabled roamer UnitedKingdom Sideshow would set them up nicely for reaching the playoffs. Casted at 21.30 by UnitedKingdom CommanderX, UnitedKingdom Maks and England DavidTheWin

Lego vs. Planet express

Following the biggest drama we’ve seen so far this season a Austria Raptor-less Finland Planet Express will be taking on the less dramatic Denmark LEGO. If the roster changes will prove to be detrimental or not in deconstructing the dangerous Danes is yet know, but if you feel like this is something you want to explore then I suggest you tune in. Guiding you through this bout will be Denmark Beater, England TurboTabs and Germany Suyooo
