Not satisfied with frustrating Danger Dogs fans and ETF2L newswriters alike, the team of numberless names (currently called UnitedKingdom ComedyShortsGaming) are looking to deliver a win over the long-standing team Denmark LEGO. The odds are definitely stacked against them, although a team with players like Sweden alle can never be completely discounted. Will ‘mad fragger’ Italy sorex and the team prevail over the rich assortment of talent from Finland, Sweden, England and America?

This lower bracket final will spell the end for one team, leaving them third, with the other team marching on to the grand final to challenge the European juggernaut crowns.

Thursday 21:00 CET: PremTech vs. Tourettes Chessclub – ETF2L Highlander Season 11

Date November 17, 2016

etf2lest22final

How about that then kids (if you get this reference you will think I am a sick man), a repeat of the Season 7 Finals in store for you tonight only 2 years later, much has changed since European Tourettes Chessclub managed to edge out PremTech two maps to one on the way to their first ETF2L crown. For a start, PremTech have renamed themselves European PremTech, but to avoid confusion I am an old fashioned man like Sir Jimmy, I will refer to them as their classic PremTech.

Finland BAITO‘s men have had a tough start, only 2 points from 12 against Luxembourg Super Dickmann's KANNONEN! and European Strong Opinions, they really need to jump start their season, or they may find playoffs a ‘Gravelpit B hold’ too far, is it time for the likes of Netherlands kKaltUu, UnitedKingdom Grenja and Denmark rech to step up? On the other side of the board, European Tourettes Chessclub have enjoyed a mixed baggage, they too were dismissed by European Strong Opinions on Upward but managed to take both maps against Ireland Stacked. The issue for European Tourettes Chessclub is their lineup is lacking a full roster, still missing a Demoman though so far they haven’t been too affected by this, but perhaps PremTech will be their downfall?

Netherlands Wiethoofd has sacrificed his busy schedule to bring you this cast, live on BlackOut TV with the abdicated England Hildreth joined by regent of Highlander, companion Spain CeeJaey to bring you this Week 3 clash on the colourful pl_borneo.

Once the Davids to the Goliaths of every other team in Premiership, Denmark LEGO are on the cusp of making it to their second consecutive Prem Grand Final. However, they are only the second favourites to make it directly into the Grand Final, and in their way stands the team that has dominated the European scene for over a year now: European Se7en.

As the teams with the two best records in Prem this season (Crowns have only dropped one point in the entire season, which was to LEGO), this is going to be as competitive as it gets. Can UnitedKingdom Starkie and his teammates deliver the expected victory, or will Denmark Dr. Phil‘s ideal number of Danes cause an upset? Tune into TeamFortress.tv to find out across this captivating three-map series.

Sunday Battles – Stacked vs. Tourettes Chessclub – ETF2L Highlander Season 11 Week 2 @ 21:00 CET

Date November 13, 2016

etf2lest22final

This Sunday we have one of the oldest rivalries left to showcase in TF2 Highlander, as former champions European Tourettes Chessclub face off against former playoff team Ireland Stacked. How will they measure up? The only way to find out is to tune into BlackOut TV on Sunday 13th November at 21 CET, where two individuals who know a lot about Ireland Stacked from their early years, UnitedKingdom Bulow, and later editions, Spain CeeJaey, team up with cameraman Netherlands Wiethoofd who has observed his fair share of clashes.

One of the best things about Highlander has always been the familiarity we gain with certain names being a constant of the scene. Team leaders Ireland b33p and Sweden Khazul are responsible for leading Ireland Stacked and European Tourettes Chessclub, both of which have been playing against eachother since Season 5. Back then European Tourettes Chessclub won the battle, beating them 4-2 on Steel in Division 1, a key victory on their path to winning promotion. The contest continued in Season 6 Premiership with another 4-2 win for European Tourettes Chessclub, this time on Badwater, before a bad tempered 3-3 draw (on Process and Viaduct) in Season 7 was European Tourettes Chessclub‘s worst result on their way to their maiden championship. Season 8 was another year belonging to Sweden Khazul‘s men, a 6-0 win helped them along to their second successive title victory, and a Week 1 victory over Ireland b33p‘s men in Season 9 was their last meeting until both sides took a hiatus from competition until this season.

The past favours European Tourettes Chessclub, who have never lost to Ireland Stacked over 2 maps, but when when you go over the recent rosters performances, it has not been bright starts for either side; European Tourettes Chessclub have fallen foul of returning champions European Strong Opinions whilst for the second time within 2 weeks, Ireland Stacked have fallen victim to Latvia Super Dickmann's JUNIORS!.

For European Tourettes Chessclub, their roster issues have been duly noted, not possessing a clear starter for 1/3 of their team, but now their roster is boasting some hefty new additions with former Highpander sniper of the season Belarus tracker joining the roster, Wales Funs being picked up from the demise of European The Bureau whilst their Demoman position is still unknown, former Highpander Demoman Germany foungi has joined the roster and may make an appearance.

Ireland Stacked meanwhile have had a few shaky roster issues, but look a lot more stable than previous seasons. The new roster is yet to light up the league but this remains a great opportunity for Ireland b33p‘s men to showcase what they can do. UnitedKingdom Piney‘s sniping has been praised by some, but how he faces up to former Stacked sniper Belarus tracker is unknown.

Either way, it will be an intriguing contest – Can Ireland Stacked record their first win of the season and their first over European Tourettes Chessclub to get their season up and running or will the former champions continue their trend of success and kick-start their own faltering campaign? Tune in to find out!
