3rd Cup Sign-Ups

After our 2nd Cup Final was played last night (more information below), we officially opened our 3^rd Cup Sign-Ups at 0.00 CET. We are happy to announce already 54 teams joined our Cup in the first 20 hours.
Remember all Fixtures will be done by random draws – challenge your teams’ luck and get any possible opponent in any round.

Your team wants to participate in our 3^rd Cup aswell? Just follow these instructions:

How do I sign up my team for 3rd ETF2L Cup?

1. As team leader you will have to create an account on our site here.
2. After you are logged in, you can register your team at the Dashboard. Here is an example for a fill-in-form.
3. You will have to enter at least 2 contacts at your team profile.
4. Once your team is registered at our site, it will be shown on our Teams-List.
5. You can now add your team members on the Player-Additions-Site. Here is an example for a fill-in-form.
6. You will have to enter at least 6 members with correct SteamID.
7. You can sign up your team to our 3^rd Cup at our Competitions-Page now. (Notice: You will first automatically get listed on the Waiting List until an admin has verified your registration.)
8. After an admin has verified your application, your team will be listed in our Cup-Participants-Page.
9. We please every new team to have a detailed reading through our Rules and FAQ.

2nd Cup Final

As mentioned before our 2^nd Cup Final between 4 Kings and Fracture was played yesterday. 4 Kings managed to win the Cup twice in a row now, even if Fracture didn’t make it an easy job for them with only losing both maps by 1 point (cp_pro_granary 5:4 | cp_badlands 4:3). Congratulations to unbeatable 4 Kings!

2nd Cup Final

After the first date has been postponed, we got a new date for our big 2nd Cup Final: Coming Sunday, 18^th May 2008, 21:00 CET!

Cup Holders 4 Kings, which had some lineup changes lately, will meet the probably most improved team of the last weeks, Fracture.

Don’t miss the big Cup Final, we will have some coverage ready!

3rd Cup Sign-Up Period

As our current Cup is reaching his end with the final being played on Sunday, we are happy to announce our 3^rd Cup Sign-Up Period:

3^rd Cup Sign-Ups open: Monday, 19.05., 0:00 CET

3^rd Cup Sign-Ups ending: Wednesday, 28.05., 23:59 CET

Cup will be played without Seedings. Fixtures for every round will be done by a random draw.

Any European team is invited to join the Cup. You can find a How-To register your team at the site in our FAQ.

Season 2 Schedule

Still having some delay in the schedule, Week 6 is running, please contact your opponent as soon as possible if you haven’t done it yet and schedule your games. If you can’t find a date for this week, try to schedule the match for early next week.

All Week 6 Games are supposed to be scheduled by tonight, 23:59 CET.

We also had to enter some 0-0 results, probably check your results list if you forgot to add any results.

Demomen Limit Vote

After having some technical error in our last Cup Vote (which result won’t be counted as it wasn’t possible to vote 12 hours after the vote started) we are opening a general Demomen Limit vote after having some open discussion on it for weeks. Please take your chance to vote above.

Notice: Season 2 Demomen Limit probably won’t be changed during the running season.

New Admin, New Forum

We are glad to announce a new Admin in our Staff: Wlv, known as player in Division 1 Team The Last Resort. He will help us with fresh ideas in some upcoming projects of the future…

As we had quite a lot threads about released movies we decided to create a “Movie Forum“. Feel free to publish your work there like Division 2a Team LOL made it with their new Team-Movie “Inspiration“.

Default Dates

First of all, for people who haven’t noticed yet, our 2nd Cup Final has been postponed to next week. New date will be published here soon of course.

Beside that we have to mention sigh6 is dropping from Division 1. Not very funny but guess nothing we can do about it.

We also had to set some Default Dates on our current Schedule this Week. We please all teams to contact your Week 6 opponents already and start scheduling these games. Try to stick to the regular schedule as good as possible.

Rules

On the rules side we add three new maps to our 3^rd-Party-Pool:

• If both teams picked the same map against each other, they can agree on changing it once to a 3^rd-Party-Map. Map can be chosen by Map Elimination Mode (1^st team on Fixtures Page is supposed to start) or just by arranging. 3^rd-Party-Mappool: cp_warpath, cp_labor, cp_redstone_b2, cp_science2, cp_stag, cp_granary (with gates), pl_goldrush

Cup Pool is still open, take your vote at top of this vote and decide which Win System we will use in our upcoming 3^rd Cup! This Vote will close coming Sunday, 23:59 CET.

Due to some bug vote was closed for the last days, so we will let it stay open for some more days.
