Due to the lack of missing matches we are postponing the Nations‘ Cup Group Phase Deadlines for one week:

• Schedule Deadline – Wednesday, 13^th August, 23:59 CET
• Game Deadline – Sunday, 24^th August, 23:59 CET

Please schedule your Nations’ Cup matches as soon as possible.  All unscheduled matches after Schedule Deadline will get a Default Date.

On a small notice, we added Belgium on the Exception Rule for the rest of the tournament:

3.2 Game Line-Ups: Not more than 4 members from one team (with exceptions)

A National Team is not allowed to play with more than 4 people from the same team.

Exception on this rule for the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine

Finally our Season summer break is over and we are ready to start the Season 3 Sign-Up Phase!

After the big success of Season 2 with 120 participating teams from over 20 different nationalities we are poised for the next chapter. Any teams of any skill level are invited to join world’s biggest TF2 league!

System Details

• Every team will get divided into Division based on their skill level as well as past results
• Every team will have to play 1 match/week during regular season
• Season will have 9 regular match weeks + 1 extra week for postponed matches + 1 playoff week
• Map Pool consists of all standard TF2 maps + 2 custom maps decided by a public poll [Link]
• Every team needs to do Map Picks for all matches before Season starts
• No fixed match days. Every match needs to be scheduled by contacting the opponent.
• Your team will have to be able to play on regular European match days (Sunday to Thursday, 20:00-22:00 CET)
• Any team from any country is invited to join, but all matches have to be played on European based servers.

• Set your correct skill level. Please be honest on rating your own team, it will help us doing correct Division seedings.

Season 3 – Sign-Up requirements

• Minimum of 6 players on roster
• Minimum of 2 different contact methods entered
• Correct Skill level set

We are starting with a slot limit of 120. When all 120 spots are filled, later signing teams will have to stay on Waiting List until we reach 10 more teams to build up a new Division.

Notice: Every team will be on the Waiting List first until an admin checked your application.

Season 3 Custom Map Poll

Beside these official maps, we want to give some new and good looking map the chance to get played. On our Custom Map Poll you are able to vote 6 different maps. The two maps with most votes will be included in our Season 3 Map Pool.

After Valve’s last patch finally made the Kritzkrieg working on servers without crits, we decided to enable the weapon for all upcoming ETF2L tournaments. For a fair competition Kritzkrieg stays disabled for all 3rd Cup and Nations’ Cup Group Phase matches.

Rule change:

1.3.1 Medic Unlocks: Übersaw + Blutsauger allowed; Kritzkrieg disabled for 3rd Cup + Nations’ Cup Group Phase

It’s allowed to use Übersaw and Blutsauger. Using the Kritzkrieg is allowed in Season 3, Nations’ Cup Playoff Phase and all upcoming competitions. Kritzkrieg stays disabled at 3rd Cup + Nations’ Cup Group Phase.
