Another wednesday, time for more default dates. We have had more unscheduled matches than last week again. Please try to schedule your matches in time. This goes especially for divisions 1 and 2. 50% of the matches in those divisions haven’t been scheduled this week. Just take 10 minutes to talk to your opponent to arrange a match. It saves us time, and gives you the guarantee you’ll play your match on a date that suits you. A win-win situation.

Player Bans

After we had a detailed look on Demos of Moonroach (ex-member of GoT1) and Trojan (ex-member of CiC) we have enough evidence to prove they used illegal cheats during clan matches. We decided for a 1 year ban on both and also a punishment of Trojan’s former team CiC, who will lose 2 Map Wins of their first two played Season 3 matches.

• Moonroach [Steam ID: 0:0:18906082] – Issue: Using a Triggerbot – Punishment: 1 year ban
• Trojan [Steam ID: 0:0:19138683] – Issue: Using wallhack + aimbot – Punishment: 1 year ban
• Cable Internet Clan – Issue: Using a cheater in ETF2L matches – Punishment: One map gets defaulted against them each match he used him

On a side note I would like to mention CiC reacted very fair and sportsmanlike on this issue. Also see their Forum Statement [Link] about it.

First of all we would like to remind all teams Week 3 officially started today, please contact your Week 3 opponents and schedule your matches (latest match date should be the 14^th, but we will be liberal if it’s scheduled for 1-2 days after Deadline).

Rule Change

As surprisingly many teams picked the same map against each other, we decided to add the option to change the map once to a Secondary Map Pool Map, so no 3^rd Party Map has to be played:

2.8 Same Map picked twice for a match? Change it to a Secondary Map Pool Map or to a 3^rd Party Map once!

If both teams managed to pick the same map against each other, they can change it to a Secondary Map Pool Map or to a 3^rd-Party-Map [see below] once if both teams agree. Map can be decided by Map Elimination Mode [Explanation] (team on the left @ Fixtures Page is supposed to start) or just by agreeing on one map.
