Highlander Season 6 – Week 1: itsallgood vs The Electric Temptations

We’ve got our first EU vs NA match up tonight with itsallgood facing off against  The Electric Temptations. Last season we saw  itsallgood gain 3rd place in Premiership after an uneasy run of results but landed victories against the favourites whilst  The Electric Temptations are new for this season consisting of 100% NA players. With  itsallgood looking to bump up above 3rd place and  The Electric Temptations fighting for American supremecy, this match could swing either way.

Highlander Season 6 – Week 1: Chessclub Techniques! by baguette Co. vs Sweet Harmony

Tonight in the premiership Tourettes Chessclub face  Jamais Vu. Jamais Vu have made some changes to their roster after a dissapointing season last time around (as SNSD) and are surely looking to get back to winning ways. Meanwhile, their opponents are also looking to hit the ground running in the Premiership after winning Division 1 last season. Who will come out on top?

Season 17 Division 1 – Week 6: d-d-Did I Stutter? vs Superstars only

Tonight we shall witness d-d-Did I Stutter? take on Rip the #dream in a close battle for 3rd place in Division 1. Both teams currently sit on 11 points with this, their last game to go with almost equal wins and losses so strategy and skill will be required to triumph over the other to gain their status in the top 3. This will certainly be a close match to watch.

ETF2L STAFF IS RECRUITING!

ETF2L is once again actively looking for volunteers to help run and maintain the league. We are looking specifically for

• Highlander Admins
• Anti-Cheat Admins
• Newspost/Coverage Writers
• Coders
• Media Producer/Designer

As the Coder requires some more specific knowledge, here is some more information:

ETF2L is looking for a backend developer who is fluent in PHP and knows his way around jQuery and CSS.

We also use Git, MySQL (MariaDB, actually!) nginx, some Ruby and Python, and of course the WordPress codex, so if you are at all familiar with any of those things, consider yourself lucky!

Due to the complexity of the ETF2L backend, it is of great importance that you know what it is being used for and how it is being used. As such, the ideal candidate would be willing to do some League Admin work preceding and/or alongside their coding duties. You’ll get even more bonus points if you can work in a team as well as being able to take initiative yourself and completing tasks alone.

Working on the ETF2L codebase is a true challenge. It has been modified, managed and cursed by many past programmers with different levels of skill and different programming standards. For that reason and others it is also important that you can handle confidential information with the appropriate care.
