TF2Connexion Movie Contest #2

Our french counterparts over at TF2Connexion are once again hosting a movie competition much like last year. This time around the competition is open for contestants from all around the world to compete for the lucrative cash and gear prizes, and of course the all-important bragging rights.

The competition’s multinational jury consists of:

• Salamancer and MarxistLeninator
• Kaneco
• huhystah
• Remitche, kustom3 and Twiggy

They will grade entries based on the quality of frags, music and editing. The top two will receive prizes along with the top-placed frenchman.

The deadline to submit your entry is on September 30th at 23.59 CEST! For more information on the prizes, rules and for other questions that might arise, check out this thread on the forums.

We are now 1 week away from the LAN, now is the perfect time to show off some of the teams already signed up for the big Highlander cup at i52!

Team-Awesome! vs After Dark – 20:30 CEST: Last time these two played each other at LAN, After Dark too a victory over T-A on cp_steel. A re-match is now in order! Both teams are sporting new LAN line ups, but will they be better this time around?

Team Nein! vs Gunther & The Gang – 21:45 CEST: On paper these are the strongest teams signed up so far. On one side we have the strong Team Nein flying over from Germany, and the other side a mix team set up by Scissors for LAN.

Both matches will be casted LIVE on BlackOut TV by  CeeJaey & Heavy Is GPS starting at 20:30 CEST!

Hello everyone, this is the very first CyberLeague.eu Invitational Cup sponsored by Tt eSPORTS & tragicservers. There will be prizes for the winners and the winners only, nothing but bruised egos for the runners up. Six Tt eSPORTS Black gaming mice as well bragging rights and the ever precious momentum going into the biggest weekend on the TF2 calendar. This cup is happening for one day on Sunday 17th August starting at 14:00 CEST. Seven of the best teams in Europe and the best team from Australia come together for a one day special double elimination cup in case you were not excited enough for i52 already. Read on for all the details, it should be quite the day.

The stream will go live about 30 to 45 minutes before hand and we will start coverage 10 to 15 minutes after that. CommanderX and Ally will be casting the event with Davidthewin on camera for a marathon shift of TF2 all on the TeamFortress.TV channel. We will bring you all the scores, interviews with the players as we go along as well as covering 7 games followed by the Grand Final. See you there.

Hey hey hey its time for the second semi final, this time between England and Norway! Join your favourite anglo-norwegian casting duo, CeeJaey & Heavy Is GPS, on BlackOut TV for over 2 hours of non-stop Highlander Nations Cup action. One of these teams tonight will continue on to face Sweden in the Grand Final and the other doomed to spend a 3rd place playoff match against Finland. Who will win? The 18th 6v6 Season of ETF2L has come to an end after 3 months of matches across all divisions, and we finally know the champions of Europe. It is our pleasure to announce that Epsilon eSports, have returned to their throne , securing 500€ from the prize pool as well as 6 Tt eSPORTS Cronos Gaming Headset courtesy of Tt eSPORTS. 

The VoDs of all playoff matches from BlackOutGamingTV and TeamFortress.TV are available on the their respective YouTube channels.

It is also worth mentioning that LEGO convincingly won Division 1 this season, and we will hopefully see them in the Premiership Division next season! Politically correct pander successfully won their premiership tiebreaker against who is? to keep their spot in the Premiership Division next season.

In the other playoff and tiebreaker matches, Planet Express won their tiebreaker to earn their place in Division 1 for next season. You can check all the playoff and tiebreaker results here.
