Match 1:

Thus far they have won ALL their matches 2-0. The TF2Pickup admin Raptor as Medic, together with his Soldier – kaptain will be taking on another high skilled team for the Quarter Finals. Who knows, maybe The Netherlands will finally have someone to be proud of in this league.
SUGAR HILL GANG This team is a duo with Zebbosai on medic. amppis will try to hit his patented “shoot feet, win game”-rockets to kill whoever is harassing his doctor. He’ll have to whip the swedish legend to a victory. They have jukebox on their roster!

Match 2:

Toxic Foxes vs What Do You Mean?

For match 2 we’ll have the German Cplay duo Toxic Foxes facing a Latvian and a Russian.
Will cube and feeling prove that German efficiency is a requirement to reach the Semi Finals, or will the Clark and YanG "Пальмира" show us that it’s wiser to kill the soldier and ignoring the medic when you’re about to win the round?

Match 3:

J&S vs REVERS3

Who knew we would ever see JackyLegs‘ name on the front page (not counting ban posts)? Well, here he is, deal with it.
Together with s0rex they are  J&S.
The Foreskings players are trying to best another Russian team. REVERS3 have some names that Highlander players will be familiar with. On medic will be the sniper main Jack, and on Soldier will be the Mon. We’ll see who will keep their winning streak, since both teams haven’t lost a single match this cup.

Match 4:

bball tWINs vs Rocket Dragons

The odd ones. SynciNG shows you don’t have to play highlander or 6v6 in order to try hard in ultiduo. Together with a really strong soldier Timus the cat they have already outdone their expectations. Now they are up against arguably the best ultiduo team in the cup. Both teams haven’t lost a single round in the cup, so anything can happen.
However, Rocket Dragons has two of the Suavest players in TF2 History. We have the Latvian playboy known as Mirelin on the crossbow, and 4 times forumban champion Mike on the airshot. Some people say Mirelin drops as many ubers as he hits his crossbows, others would say Mike yw’r Draig, Mirelin yw’r Roced.

Just a few things to keep in mind when playing:

• Make sure you have the right config and whitelist enabled. Ultiduo Configs
• Make sure you are using players that are verified, mercs are not allowed.
• Teams can still be added into the cup during the group stage. Check your fixtures every round.
• Be on time. You are allowed 15 minutes before the opponents can claim a default win.
• If anything happens during the match, contact an admin with your evidence.
• The match is a best of three (just like king of the hill), winner of 2 rounds wins the match.
• Submit your results on time. We expect you to upload the status + scoreboard screenshots and scores 15 minutes before the next round at max.
• The top 2 teams of a group are going to the knockout phase, in case of ties we will use head to head scores.
• As usual, record your demos and create screenshots. The Anti-Cheat team might request them.
• Contact the admins if your team is dropping from the cup.

This cup couldn’t have been possible if we didn’t have an amazing group of sponsors.

The winners will receive two Thermaltake Core V1 mini ITX chassis!

The following setup will be used:

First Place: 2x Core V1 mini ITX chassis + 2 prof Killstreak Kits + 18 keys + 2x 1 year of serveme.tf  donator status
Second Place: 2x Talon Blu mouse + 2 spec Killstreak Kits + 10 keys + 2x 6 months of serveme.tf donator status
Third Place: 2 Killstreak Kits + 2x 3 months of serveme.tf donator status
Fourth Place: 2 stranges/cosmetics

We will divide the cup into three days. One for group stages, one for knockout and one for the finals. The amount of knockout rounds will depend on the number of signups.

Season 20 powered by Tt eSPORTS: Award Polls

With Season 20 powered by Tt eSPORTS concluding in a nail biting best of three series between Ze Knutsson Rollerbladers and Se7en, in which the Scandinavians accompanied by their brother from across the Baltic Sea nukkye reigned victorious. And a less close but not less exciting Grand Finals match between Ze Knutsson Rollerbladers and SUAVE, out of which SUAVE came out as the defending champion, it is now time to decide the best players of each respective class.

But before we get to it, two decisions have been made for you already. The Roamer of the Season as well as the Best Player of the Season award will be bestowed upon SUAVE‘s Mike. Due to a lack of other players reaching the minimum amount of nominations required to even be considered for said awards. This may seem kinda anti-climactical, but the numbers (and logs) don’t lie. Mike managed to receive over 88% of all nominations for Roamer of the Season and 75% of all nominations for Best Player of the Season. This brings him to a total of 14 awards, lastly surpassing schocky from a previously shared 1st place, making him the most decorated player so far.

Now that that’s out of the way lets get to the remaining 7 polls, which remain entirely in your, the community’s, hands.

Heavy Is GPS and CeeJaey are back to bring you some more Highlander on BlackOut TV! Tonight we have Highpander© squaring up to PremTech. Hildreth‘s minions took a 4-2 victory over Tourettes Chessclub in week 1, while PremTech swept aside WASP 6-0. Both teams will be using mercs – Lex and it's Mint will be stepping in on Pyro and Engineer for PremTech, while Hildreth‘s Hawaiian hero Polk is too busy wearing floral shirts and drinking cocktails out of coconut shells to play, with Husky poised to step in.

This repeat of the Season 7 semi-final takes place across the wild lands of koth_warmtic and cp_process. Hildreth singled out phromelo and zoob as his team’s big playmakers in his pre-season interview, so they’ll be doubly dangerous on the Soldier and Sniper havens on offer tonight. Their opposite numbers Tseini and uubers will be doing their best to reply with big performances of their own.

The action kicks off at 21 CEST. Don’t miss it!
