Tourettes Chessclub once again look like a strong contender for the title, having dominated their first two matches. Unpoppable, on the other hand, only have one map win so far, claimed against their russian brethren during week 2. It seems unlikely  Tourettes Chessclub will fall tonight, but you never know what maxxx.lfc and his squad might have hidden up their sleeves.

Tonight, 20:00CET: Team Colonslash: Frosties vs. Sober Bear

The Frosties, formally known as Ermehgerd before joining Team Colonslash, are playing their second consecutive season in the mid tier. After a solid season in UGC Gold, where they came in 6th, reaching mid tier playoffs is now their main focus. The Russian counterparts of tonight´s clash are gonna try to interfere with these plans as they themselves are still undefeated this season.

Who will be victorious in this week 3 match? Will the teams be able to actually cap last on Barnblitz? We heard it has never been done before…

Lego vs. serpents

For whom does the bell toll? It tolls for 3 of the teams competing tonight, as they won’t make it into playoffs. First out this evening we are treated to LEGO who will be taking on the roster revising Russians Serpents. With LEGO sticking around until DreamHack they have more to gain from some practice than the Serpents has. Nonetheless these are two fierce teams and that should make for one hell of a game. So join Admirable, Beater and Jon on the cinematograph.

Animate vs. reason gaming Canceled

Se7en are safe in knowing they’ve made it into playoffs. But there is still more to gain from the regular season. The amount of points they get from this fixture will determine whether or not they get first seed and automatic entry into the grand final. Animate on the other hand need at least 3 points to pass Danger Dogs and avoid relegation. So tune in with WARHURYEAH, CommanderX and DavidTheWin to see the seedings sorted.

Both teams have secured a spot each in the playoffs. But the outcome of this game can come to affect the seeds going into playoffs. But most importantly it’s a glimpse at what is to come, a preview. So will the keen Full Tilt have what it takes to take down the 7 time champions Epsilon eSports? With two of the top 3 teams playing you  can expect a good game with. Did someone ask for more Razer action? Well, you got your wish granted! In the month of November, Razer Arena will play host to Monthly Mayhem, a tournament series with daily qualifiers and cups for both Europe and North America!

Structure

Each region will have its own separate tournament composed of three main components: the Swiss System Qualifiers, the Super Sunday Cups, and the Playoffs.

Swiss System Qualifiers

The Swiss System Qualifiers are the way to qualify for the Playoffs at the end of the month! Teams will play two matches a week on Wednesday for three weeks. These matches will be determined by the Swiss system, which ensures that teams are paired up with similarly ranked teams. After the eight matches have been completed, the top sixteen ranked teams will advance to the Playoffs!

Super Sunday Cups

Super Sunday Cups are weekly tournaments used for practice. They are single elimination, much like the Playoffs, and also comes with some stakes: each player on the winning team will receive a $20 Razerstore Voucher to use on upgrading their gear.

Playoffs

The Playoffs are the final event of the month! The sixteen teams from the Qualifiers will face off in a single elimination bracket. The team that ends up on top will take home the prize pot of $1000, while all others will have to remain content with making it that far.
