With total signups of 201 teams we increased the number of teams from Season 23 (182 teams) and are almost ready to start into week 1. The Provisional Tiers can be found here:

Once again most teams got the Tier they requested for, only in High we had to deny a couple teams’ requests. If you are among these teams, please know that it was a fairly close decison, taking everything into consideration. But in the end only so many teams can get into High, if you did not make the cut, we have had our reasons for it.

If you have not done so already also submit your Preferred days and times for your week 1 fixtures. Teams will be paired on Saturday 23:59, so make sure to do it before.

To submit your availability go to Dashboard > My Teams > Edit Availability. Please also note to submit the time frame in a 24h format, otherwise it will not work (e.g. 20:00 instead of 08:00 p.m.).

Pre-Season 24 Playoffs powered by Tt eSPORTS: Lower Bracket Final

Today at 19:30 CEST top5rocket and Velocity eSports will face each other in the Lower Bracket Finals of the Pre-Season 24 Playoffs.

After joining in in Round 2 top5rocket and sending Damage in Garage into the Lower Bracket, the French team had to face  PC MASTER RACE in the Winner Bracket Finals, which they lost in three close maps.

Whereas  Velocity eSports was sent to the Lower Bracket by Danger Dogs in Round 1 already, followed by them knocking out Damage in Garage in the next round. After that they managed to redeem themselves against  Danger Dogs in two maps, both decided by a Golden Cap.

For both teams it is win or bust on their way to the Grand Finals, where  PC MASTER RACE are already waiting for their last and final test.

The Grand Final will be played as a best-of-five with  PC MASTER RACE having one map advantage. It is scheduled to start at 21:15 CEST and will be casted by Bren and zeFrosty over at teamfortress.tv

Day two of our playoff matches with tonight bringing us two more fantastic teams from the top of the High division. In one corner we have the well-acquainted squad of Budget Toucans against the newer bundle of boys from inVision. The victor tonight after their best of 3 map match across cp_gullywash, pl_badwater and pl_barnblitz in a winner-takes-all scenario will have the pleasure of playing in the High Final against last night’s winner Super Dickmann's KANNONEN!. And so it begins! After 7 weeks of falling down the pit, dropping ubers to heavy fists and dying to your own sentry in setup time we’ve come to playoffs time! Although this is not Premiership quite yet, each of two teams fighting tonight deserved their shot at becoming one of the “big boys” next season. Standing before you in the first High semi-final are none other than Team Colonslash: Express – another offspring of a famous clan – who barely missed out on reaching the finals last season, finishing only 4th this season and could possibly face the same fate again.

Their opponent:  Super Dickmann's KANNONEN!; a team that has proven they are the top of the division by getting all six points from every match except one, including Team Colonslash: Express on cp_steel. Playing on pl_upward, cp_gullywash and koth_lakeside tonight Team Colonslash: Express will be looking for some payback. Season 24 powered by Tt eSPORTS: Premiership Playoffs

As I want to keep this short why don’t you look at this professionally crafted piece of information instead. It includes all you Playoff teams and everything else you need to know, especially the schedule and the setup. I guess we did not understate when we promised 3 days of intense TF2 action, but if you want to play in Europe’s highest division you will have to show something for it.

After their success in the Season 24 Pre-Season Cup as well as a solid performance in the Dreamhack Qualifier we decided to give happy end one of the two vacant spots in the Premier Division. This leaves Damage in Garage,  3/6,  Danger Dogs,  Velocity eSports,  PC MASTER RACE and  top5rocket to fight for the last spot. May the most enduring team win.

The Season 24 whitelist can be found here. The Eviction Notice, the Phlogistinator and the Wrap Assassin get unbanned. After mixed results of our open poll as well as feedback from Premier Division players (with a more negative tendency in both cases) we decided that the Solemn Vow will remain banned, same goes for the Flying Guillotine, where results turned out more conclusive.

The Season 23 class limits remain unchanged.
