Welcome to the Highlander Season 33 (Spring 2025): High Semi-Finals!
This match will be played as a best-of-three.
Both teams need to agree on who eliminates first. If the two teams cannot agree, they need to perform a heavy fist fight. The winner of this heavy fist fight can decide if he wants to start of if the other team should.
Maps will be decided using the following Map Elimination System:
Team A bans a map
Team B bans a map
Team B picks a map
Team A picks a map
The winner of a heavy fist fight gets to decide from remaining two maps.

If you are looking for the culprit I’ll save you some time it was mostly clark’s doing. I feel sorry for his team mates who actually wanted to play and not default win hunt just to get a gold medal. I hope you meet such kindness in the future.
Just wanted to clear some things up, Me and brann organized our offy for Sunday the 25th, this Monday, a ticked has been made to etf2l admins regarding this with screen shots about our conversations to confirm. once admins were done the date has been changed to sunday 21:15, T90 made a counter ticket denying everything about all of this and reverted the date back, the admins said I cant do anything to change this, Brann is blaming clark and chocolate, I asked so when can we reschedule and the only reply they gave me was “sorry”. enjoy your virtual medal. I hope it was worth it.

if anything might sound harsh but unless turn90 and chuds can figure out some other datechange thats between now and sunday Chuds should probably just get a default win if that means t90 cant play sunday however sad that may be for turn90. I think changing default matchtime 3 hours before that matchtime is not acceptable.
There is no better way to show that your team is mentally weak, full of fear and is about to lose the match than trying to abuse all possible rules to secure a last second default

Okay, I just got home and seeing the crazy amount of dms i got during these past 12 hours I suppose I should address this situation aswell
Firstly id like to thank all the people in etf2l for standing by Chuds, be it snacks, Emiel, vixen, keviN, cherub, kraze or anybody else i havent mentioned. Im sad to see that Branns own teammates like chocolate, dempsey and Clark decided to undermine their leader just for a ez def win against the Chuds.
Scheduling:
Monday 20pm Brann offered to play thurs 21, ReseF denied, since we wouldnt be able to have half of our roster and proposed tues 21, Brann agreed, 4 hours later Brann updates us, that Dempsey is missing on tues and that he would like to reschedule for sunday, sure, its after the deadline, but we didnt really care and we agreed cuz we just wanna play the game.
Wed comes around, the bot sets the def date for thurs 21, ReseF makes a ticket about changing the date to sun 21 since both parties agreed. No response – whatever, we agreed on sun, we suppose everyone is gonna keep their word.
Thurs comes, ReseF and Brann pick maps at 13:30, 15 minutes later chocolate messages ReseF that he is now the new teamleader of T90 and anything we agreed doesnt count and we play thurs 21 (ez def win for them since they know since Monday Chuds cannot play on thurs)
Sodium decides to side with T90 since no admin replied to ReseF ticket by that point and since Brann is no longer leader – since his team got taken over by chocolate and Clark on thurs 14:00 – and discord dms are not sufficient evidence.
Chuds and the other teams in semis (THACI/VUCIC and Kazakh) were fine with postponing the offi – and therefore even the grands – to next week if sun suddenly doesnt suit T90, but only response we got from T90 was “…sorry…”
This unsportsmanship behaviour coming from Clark and chocolate seems especially hypocritial considering Clark himself tried to do everything in his power to get players from 4House banned for not playing fair (Odin interp abusing, etc) and then in the same season him proceeding to act this scummy. Clark lost any sense of credibility as a fair and honest player I had for him.
Me and ReseF take full responsibility for not pressing on admins faster to change the date of the match to Sunday.
Id like to again thank all the players who stood by Chuds, your spirit is the thing that keeps tf2 alive, we wanna play tf2, not hunt for def wins.

The only response was “sorry”? Your leader told chocolate he would only listen to what brann had to say despite the fact that chocolate is also our leader and was open to having a discussion with you. We wanted to make sure we actually were available to play at a set date before proposing a new one to you but you avoided the discussion and were dead set on playing at the date that ended up actually not being good for us in the end due to our crappy internal communication. If we really did not want to play the game, why would we have bothered to contact you instead of just going straight to the admins? Does not make much sense does it?
Clark contacted admins, only because chocolate was actually ignored by them and continues being so at the time of writing of this comment, the same as he was by you. Matter of fact, chocolate still keeps wanting to play this game despite all of us wanting to move on thanks to how you acted in response to everything.
Glad you are level headed enough to admit to some mistakes on behalf of your team while we were eating shit from your made up comments and lies throughout the whole evening. Hard to feel guilty about anything now, but I personally believe all of us are equally responsible for what happened regarding the game. I hope your leader will stop sharing the information that is only convenient for your side of the story at some point because you deserve better.

I thought if teams can’t agree on what day they want to play, admins set the date that doesn’t suit both teams to remain neutral, not side with one of the teams. Unfortunateley once again it seems that certain players are more priviliged in the eyes of the admins than the others.
Certain players are allowed to promote a fucking scam gambling site on etf2l for years, certain players are allowed to get default win due to enemy team using “map bug” which was intended by the map creator from his words and it seems now that certain players are allowed to pick when they want to play regardless of the enemy team availability.
Just play next week its not that difficult to be normal

I made a ticket yesterday about this and asked them can a basic player on the team with no power do this stuff? they said that NO only team captains negotiate this stuff. Every single player on your team is telling different info. I asked when can we reschedule play any other day. I asked the admins what am I supposed to do this? I carry the weight of my whole team in trying to manage all of this and now because you guys decide to play on the last day when you know we 100% cant just to avoid fighting us.
