Was looking at:
Razer Carcharias
Steelseries Siberia v2
Roccat Kave – nevermind as its too overpriced on my local shops T.T
any suggestions?

i prefer steelseries 5H – imo best headset for fps
i had razer charcarias, but the left side died, and it wasn’t that comfortable and hell, there was 0 noise reduction. I heard everything. I bought my SiberiaV2 almost 2 months ago, and it is like 10 times better than the razer, and it is cheaper. Its more comfortable, it looks better (imo), noise reduction is great, has more bass than charcarias so it is better for music too.
Go with the Siberia V2 :)

Personally I’d go for the most expensive Sennheiser HEADPHONES you can get and then a cheap usb mic. Well possibly if you have no interest in music or movies then a headset is easier.

Why not a sennheiser headset? I have the PC 151, works great.

If you want but for the sound quality headphones tend to be cheaper.
no senheiser on my local shops. Guess im going for the siberia v2 with usb soundcard.
any thoughts on roccat kave / barracuda / 5hv2 ?

‘gaming’ headphones are generally made of shitty cheap components. Better off getting a set of high quality studio or DJ Headphones or anything that doesn’t have gaming or f4tal1ty slapped across them.
Saying that, I wouldn’t go for the Razer headphones if it was a choice between them and the Steelseries. The Steelseries has a remarkable frequency response at the low end, its very good actually. Look better aesthetically and are probably better made, they look a bit more robust along with the microphone being a bit more discrete and retractable making them more versatile if you are not just going to use them for gaming.
If you can afford them then have a look at these. Brilliant set of headphones
89 euro so just over your budget but well worth it
