So far I liked it, then again. I ‘changed’ my aim to tf2 ( twitchshots ). So I kinda suckass in CS atm :D + waiting after dead is shit.
CS is bad so unless this revolutionises the way the game is played (obviously not) then I’d guess it’s bad.

at least they could have learned something from tf2 and put some cool new hats into csp
Keeping in mind that the idea for a promod was thought up not more than a month after css was released. Because nobody really liked how css was so different (in a bad way) from cs1.6
I can safely say , although still in beta csp looks like a failed attempt to imitate 1.6
It just isn’t the same. They tried to make the recoil like in 1.6 , but it still is very similar to css. When you can still just hold mouse1 with an AK and hit. And the pistols (especially deagle) are just as inacurate as the awp when walking. The awp , while scoped and god forbid you move an inch your shot will go miles from the crosshair , which ruins the quickzooming that kinda made the awp useful in pcws.
Grenades: Slower and the effect is same as in 1.6 , but they didnt fix the thing that when you move side ways and throw your nade it goes who knows where like in css.
Oh right , forgot to add that theres still the anoying delay after you jump or duck from css. So that kinda also fucks up the movement.
And i dont understand why , but theres a delay after switching some weapons , so you cant shoot instantly. Which i dont think was in neither css or cs.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not some hardcore cs1.6 fanboy , I really like what they’re trying to accomplish with csp. And I just pointed out what’s , in my opinion , wrong with it.
awesome ! I really like it a lot more than the ugly gameplay of cs:s.
So I manage to dl it at 19:20 due to my shit net, ten minutes behind the others.
Im raring to go i install it, restart steam.
I double click on it, ERROR you need source installed.

There is. If you disable the weapon switching animations it becomes obvious.
