A question to those of you who play competetive mw2

Maybe they should fix the fact that not everybody is able to connect to some random guys hosted server… maybe then their competitive scene can actually get bigger
IWnet mabey shitty for lots of pepole but its not shitty enough to stop a competetive scene.
And @ Fanva-You can host a private match. not that much of a deal on the competetive side.
Why do you ask us? We play tf2 not mw2. Doesn’t the league where you play mw2 have any forums where you can ask the guys who actually set the rules? I bet you would get a hell of a lot better answers there.

LOTSA PEOPLE.

lol mw2 is terrible for competative play. at i38 the tournament was really crap because of activations/IW lack of thaught :p.
And besides due to peer to peer you can essentially only play vs people near you in europe, or the pings too much of an advantage.
Clanbase have only selected a few ldder modes because they want to get them populated, is it really intelligent to have 20 different ladders with 5 teams in each? or 3 game modes with 30 teams in each?
I enjoy the game in public as its fun, you can get amusing kill streaks, camp and pwn people with spam :).
I played cod1/2 to a very high level and those games (set in ww2) were far more skilled and competative as its slower you dont have guns akimbo and just people jump proning in your face with 2 guns blazing whilst a helecopter spawn rapes your whole team ;). oh know i’ve been spotted on UAV WALLHACK

This is the off-topic section, so people are allowed to ask questions like this here, however I do agree with you. Why bother asking in ETF2L? On the logical side of things, you would have more answers asking at a Modern Warfare 2 forum, would you not?
Anyways, my view on this is that it’s kind of a promod as such? the rules kind of form a manual promod, imho

A few reasons:
-I’ve seen a few topics talking about mw2 so I thought pepole who played competetive @ other games will probobley try mw2 also. guess I was wrong.
-its one of the few abroad forums im still active at and its nice to get some opinion. also there are some pro’s hidden around here so I thought I might get an answer here. I dont see how it bothers you.
