imo u dont need those stairs
but great map i loled at the major resembleance (or however u spell it) to badlands
but badlands is the ultimate comp map so it is a good foundation to go off of
great looks too
btw what is ur sun angle is it stock for the sky?
the map has shitloads of issues to fix, isnt anywhere near for the gameplay :p (just tested 6on6).
for example bugged spawns etc :D
spawns are bugged, please fix :( middle point is abit to huge, getting presence on the actual point is really difficult. the area before cp1 is abit to hard to navigate in my opinion.
i think what numlock is trying to say, is that the map has fps issues and needs optimisations
fix bug with spawn plz .. we got spawned into the blue spawn 2 times and couldnt get out because the doors are only for blu
Second resup is bugged. Couldn’t get out of the door, same issue effected every spawning team mate. Was stuck there till our spawn position changed and we could relocate via class change.
Map seems too big to me. Keeping tabs on scouts was an impossibility, and it felt like there was too much distance between spawning and the next point. Two decent length sticky jumps required to get from second resup to middle (or alternatively trek through the house which takes even longer as a heavy class).
I also think the area between first and second could be tidied up. Felt quite cramped and cluttered.
Yeah, gotta fix the fps, it’s really unplayable in its current state.
I think the first point caps way too fast, especially when it is as open as it is.
Also, I think there should be a forward spawn when you’ve capped third… it’s just so damn boring walking all the way from the beginning to middle every time you die.
But yeah, an interesting map, I’d like to try it with those two things fixed.
i’ve reworked some parts of 2nd and 3rd cp and totally destroyed the old 1st cp. reworked some paths from 3rd to 2nd + added 1 route
now. i need some help. im totally clueless what kind of layout i should do to the 1st cp.
spawns are fixed by the way.
and the fps issues are already known, i’ll have a look on that when i got proper layout done :B
come into the playtest channel and get some discussion with players perhaps you can brainstorm something to your liking, looking forward to an update to the map.
some rework at 1st cp, the spawndoor close to cp isnt going to stay there. (not taking pics of 1st to 2nd cp area, cause you wouldnt understand them, its simple tho!)
and yes, it reminds of granary ;)
