Our peaks are below the peaks of cs again.
I guess 50k didnt like the game that much after all :(
Who cares, we like tf2, they like css, our community tends to be nicer and more open to newcommers, theirs is angsty and unforgiving to newcommers..
Well since F2P TF2 peaks at around 50k atm compared to before when it was around 20k so more than doubling our numbers, pretty good stuff and comp TF2 is in a good place right now.
So we’re not the most popular game on Steam? Who cares we’re doing fine.
They kind of ruined it for each other.
I don’t check regularly enough to know for certain, but I think we still have a more consistant playerbase. CS hits a higher peak each day but throughout the day we sit at/just below our peak for a good chunk of the day while cs only gets within 10k of its peak for small portions of time.
Could well be wrong but that’s what the numbers suggest on occasion I check.

but we have a better community so it’s all good
People that play a game, that doens’t even have an engineer in it, have no clue about gaming.
i think TF2 itself has a great comunity, all that is going on right now there has never been more help for everyone out there.
Just gotta keep on trucking all thoese who are putting the effort in to build and grow the comunity itself and encourage newer players to learn and enjoy the game more.
We still have more people than Brink :)
Why do people care so much: I like TF2, CS players like CS – whats the big deal if more people like CS?

There’s no big deal if more people like CS, but there’s a big deal if more people like tf2 ;).

Some of us like statistics and that’s actually a very informative graph. You can really see when everyone starts idling. It peaks around thursday-friday continues into the weekend and then quickly drops till the next drop reset. (For the record This wednesday 28 sept 23:00 CET its around 42k current/44 peak)
These are daily snapshots from steamstats on specific time? Do you use the current or peak figures?
