With the success of the High-Tide One-Night Cup in July, we have decided to put on a Halloween Crit or Treat! One-Night Cup on the big night itself, Saturday 31st October. The format will run analogous to the High-Tide cup with a four-team group round robin followed by a final round to determine the podium positions.

In spirit of the festivities, we’ll be playing Halloween maps and will have spells enabled throughout. After an informal consultation with a number of players, we have decided to disable two spells by default: MONOCULUS and Meteor. The rest are fair game! To enable this, please use the correct configs for each round, listed below. If both teams agree in writing to allow all spells, the standard Highlander configs may be used to enable all spells.

• Sign-ups are open from now until Friday 30th October, 18:00 CEST!
• Final tiers will be published Friday 30th October (after which roster lock is enabled).
• Match day, Saturday 31st October:
  • 19:00 CEST Round 1: koth_slasher
  • 19:45 CEST Round 2: pl_hasslecastle
  • 20:30 CEST Round 3: koth_trainsawlaser
  • 21:30 CEST Grand Final & 3rd Place Match: pl_bloodwater

Format and Whitelist

A plug-in has been made to disable the MONOCULUS and Meteor spells. For this to plug-in to run, please use the spooky versions of the KOTH and Stopwatch configs. Slasher has its own config which sets the win limit to 2. If you and your opponents agree to play with all spells enabled, please use the standard versions of the configs (setting the win limit to 2 if the map is Slasher).

The stock ETF2L Highlander Whitelist will be used.

Division Structure: Teams will be placed into Pools of 4 (e.g., Premiership, High, Mid, Low, Open A, Open B, etc.).

Sign-up Process

First and foremost, you must sign your team up here:

Then, if you are applying for Division 6/Open tier (which is our entry division), you do not have to provide any proof that you are capable of playing at that level.

Otherwise, we encourage you to send in an application through the ticket system in our Discord or by directly contacting a league admin, with the following information:

– Team name, Division you apply for and ETF2L team link
– Roster
– Recent results and logs associated to them
– Reasons why your team deserves to be placed in the tier you applied for (optional)

Teams that do not send an email or contact the admins risk losing their spot in the division they are asking for.

Please note that the success of your request also strongly depends on the free slots in the tier you aim.
