Vaccinator One-Night-Cup – Revisited!

In the first week of February, we held a proof-of-concept 6v6 fun cup, to experiment with the new medigun and experience 6v6 where you did not need to wait for ubercharges. Although the Cup was hindered by substantial technical issues, two of the three brackets successfully finished their games, and we’ve received a number of requests to re-host the Cup at a later date for a smoother experience.

Whether you enjoyed experimenting with the new medigun in the First of the cup or did not get a chance to experience it, you are invited to sign up for the 2nd Edition of the Vaccinator Cup, to be held on the coming Wednesday, March 6th!

As before, both 6v6 and Fun Teams are welcome. The signups will close on 18 CET on Cup night, with brackets announced at 19 CET.

First Edition Wrap-Up

In spite of on-site brackets being initially unvailable due to technical issues, the High and Mid bracket teams persevered and successfully completed their games. Out of the chaos that dominated much of the Cup Night, the following teams emerged as champions:

High Bracket

• 3rd Place –  Barmatuhi

Middle Bracket

• 1st Place –  Dirsā Pisēji
• 2nd Place –  Partyvan
• 3rd Place –  Directly Terrible
• 3rd Place –  +forward

The Low Bracket was not completed, and its results were irrecoverably lost. Our apologies to the teams affected – we will ensure nothing like this occurs in future cups.
