On behalf of our friends from Copenhagen Games we are happy to announce that this year’s Team Fortress 2 tournaments at the Copenhagen Games Esports Festival will be sponsored by L33t Gaming, manufacturers of high quality gaming chairs, tables, mouse mats and other great gaming gear. Thanks to their generous contribution this year’s tournaments will have a total prize pool of 12.000 €!
The prize money will be split between the two tournaments, with 10.000 € for 6v6 and 2.000 € for Highlander

6v6 Main tournament:

The prizepool will be distributed as follows:

1. Place: 5.000 € + Hardware
2. Place: 2.500 € + Hardware
3. Place: 1.250 € + Hardware
4. Place: 1250 €

9v9 Highlander tournament:

Distribution:

1. Place: 1.250 € + Hardware
2. Place: 750 € + Hardware
3. Place: Hardware

The Copenhagen Games 2019 TF2 staff is working on a B-Tournament for gamers that were knocked out during the group stages to keep everybody occupied during the event. Stay tuned for more information!

EDIT: Due to one team deciding to drop there are no qualifying matches for Premiership season 18

The Highlander Season 18 Premiership Qualifiers are hereby announced. Feila finanzieren durch DROPS and inVision will keep their Premiership spot based on last seasons performance. Based on the applications received and past results we have decided that Strong Opinions will receive an automatic spot. This leaves 4 teams to fight for 3 spots in a double elimination bracket.

Announcing Highlander Season 18!

For tiers we’ll be aiming to run swiss again for Open and Mid. This is still potentially subjected to change depending on the final signup numbers.

Season Schedule

• Signups: 22nd February – 8th March 21:00 CET (Premiership signup deadline is March 1st 21:00 CET)
• Publishing of Provisional Divisions: 7th March
• Publishing of Final Divisions: 8th March
• Premiership Qualifiers: 1st – 8th March
• Main Season: 10th March – 12th April (5 Weeks)
• Break for Copenhagen Games. No games will be played between 13th – 20th April
• Playoffs: 21st April – 12th May
