Basketball 2on2 Cup + Instagib CTF 4on4 Cup: Sign Up Status

The Sign Up Phase for the two most requested Fun Cups are almost over. Teams who haven’t signed up yet still got time till this Sunday, 23:59 CET to grab a spot. We will inform you at this post about the current Sign Up Status for both cups. Both cup trees will be published on Monday. Instagib CTF 4on4 Cup: Map Pool and Config changes

After some feedback of the community we decided for some changes in the Map Pool. The following maps are now included in the Instagib Map Pool:

Besides, we also had to make two changes in our Instagib Cup Config:

Also the 2^nd and 3^rd winner of our public Fun Cup Poll are starting soon. Feel free to build and register teams already [Register Team Link]. Specific cup rules are discussed internal and will be published during the next week!

It’s time for the semi finals already. 4 teams are left to fight for the title. Fixtures have been drawn yesterday, and that came up with the following fixtures:

The UKeSA

What is the UKeSA? The UKeSA is a big UK-based eSports association. It tries to professionalize eSports. Amongst others, it has chosen TF2 as one of their played games for season 1. And here’s the catch: The games with the biggest amout of signups will go on to become premiership games. These premiership games will have a nice prize fund (details yet to be announced). While this all has few to do with the ETF2L, it is a big development for TF2 as a competitive game if we can get it into the premiership. Therefor we want to encourage as much teams as possible to sign up for the UKeSA in order to give TF2 a boost.

Division 1 playoff

Sadly, the division 1 team Komacrew ceased to exist before the season could start. There has been a lot of controversy about who will replace them. Therefore we have decided to do a small cup this sunday between 4 of the strongest division 2 teams to decide who will take the spot. Details of this cup are the following:
