If you are on this list, you should have been given Leader to the official team page for your nation. If your nation has not previously participated, you may create a teampage yourself. If your nation has competed before you must use the same teampage. If you need help contact an admin!

Captains should add the desired roster to the team page as soon as possible, remembering the maximum roster size of 13. Teams without at least 6 (preferably more, since there are NO MERCS allowed) players on the team roster (exceptions may apply) by July 18 could be removed from the Cup.

Please remember if a player has joined Nation X’s roster, they may not play for Nation Y. Contact an admin if you have any queries about this.

Last year in the Highlander Nations Cup #2, Netherlands unfortunately lost to Denmark during Round 1 playoffs whilst Germany got futher and into the Quarter-Finals but also coughed out to United States of America who went on to win the cup. Darn! But tonight these sister nations fight each other here for those initial bragging rights. Who will win? Tune in at 21.00 CESTto find out!

It’s time for the premier match of the Highlander Nations Cup #3 powered by Tt eSPORTS! Tonight your lovely hosts are [player id=90252] & [player id=56586] with his national pride on BlackOut TV with the two nations of Norway & Portugal go head-to-head on our Week 1 maps, pl_badwater and cp_steel. Last year both teams reached the playoffs in the Highlander Nations Cup #2 but got knocked out 6-0 in Round 1, Portugal losing to France and  Norway losing to United States of America but a new year with new rosters could turn the tables. Who will win? Nations Cup #5 powered by Tt eSPORTS

It is that time of the year again – time for the best players of each country to band together and prove their country is the best!

The Cup will feature a Group Stage and a single-elimination Tournament, and will take place throughout July, August and September, with a break for i52. Each country will be represented by one team consisting out of players of the same nationality, led by a Captain chosen through the applications process.

Team Captain Applications

Captain Applications are now open.

National teams are created and managed by Captains chosen out of submitted applications. Each Captain will pick the best possible roster from amongst their countrymen and lead their glorious squadron to victory. There are no restrictions on which players you can field in your team, so long as they are of your country’s nationality and are eligible to play in ETF2L.

To apply, send an email to staff@etf2l.org, explaining why you should be your country’s captain and describe your planned national roster. Applicants who have experience leading successful ETF2L teams and a good reputation in the scene will be given priority. This should be self explanatory  but you should include at least your nickname and your ETF2L profile link in the application letter.

Captain Applications will close on Monday, 7th of July at 23:59 CEST. Only approved Captains and their National Teams will be added to the competition.

Tonight we have the final two matches being played simultaneously of Season 18 before playoffs with Lethal Weapon against Awsomniac and Politically correct pander against Saints. With how late these games are being played, the only outcome that could change anything is if  Awsomniac beat  Lethal Weapon 6-0 which would place them above the gods of Premiership, Epsilon eSports by only 1 point. Insult to injury? On the other side of tonight is  Politically correct pander and  Saints where whichever way the game goes, they will be no change to the final places of the teams this season but this doesn’t mean there won’t be a great match available!

Lethal Weapon vs  Awsomniac will be casted on TeamFortressTV by CommanderX & Twiggy with a definitely fixed Jon on the camera

Politically correct pander against Saints will be casted on TeamFortressTV2 by Admirable & ilike2spin with Sideshow on the camera
