Season 19 powered by Tt eSPORTS – Week 1: coolclan vs maincall.tf

More Premiership action tonight when coolclan take on SUAVE. The potatomaster, Admirable, has gathered himself a team that consists of players with a fair bit of experience of the higher levels of play along with some Premiership newcomers, namely Bonkers and phromelo who’ll most likely be making their Premiership debuts tonight. They produced a dissapointing performance in the TF.TV Invitational but came back strong to claim the second spot for grabs from the Premiership qualifiers. Tonight is their chance to continue on the high and propel themselves into a succesful season. However, they face the worst possible opposition they could in SUAVE who many might tip as potential champions this season. The star-studded squad doesn’t need any introductions with IPZIE managing to fill nearly every position with the best Europe can offer. After a dominant showing in the TF.TV invitational they should be a strong force in the season, starting today. Can coolclan overcome being the underdogs and take some points home tonight?

Season 19 powered by Tt eSPORTS – Week 1: Ze Knutsson Rollerbladers vs La Berrichonne de Châteauroux

The season kicks off tonight when Ze Knutsson Rollerbladers face Awsomniac. The Swedes (with a little bit of added Finnish flavour) have proved themselves a candidate a real candidate to make playoffs with strong performances in both the Premiership qualifiers and the TeamFortress.TV Invitational. Along the seasoned Premiership veterans (granted some of them are offclassing), amppis is making his Premiership debut after jumping up from division 3. After a good performance in the TF.TV invitational he’s proven himself capable of the level of play and you can expect a good performance from him tonight as well. On the opposing side is Awsomniac, a full-French team who made the second round of playoffs two seasons ago with nearly the same roster. Without any recent showings apart from PCWs this is their first chance to show what they are really made of. If they can produce the same level of play as two seasons ago we should be in for a thriller!

Season 19 powered by Tt eSPORTS: Premiership Playoffs

This Playoff will be handled as a Double Elimination Cup, minus the Grand Final, which is not needed since the four teams are fighting for two spots in Prem.

The first round will happen on Monday, 22nd at 21:15 CET.

The winner of Ze Knutsson Rollerbladers vs Coast to Coast will then face either E-SHOCK ESPORT on Wednesday, 24th at 21:15 CET, or coolclan on Tuesday, 23rd at 21:15 CET in the Winners Bracket. (Depending on who will advance in the pairing E-SHOCK ESPORT vs coolclan.) The winner of this match will earn the first spot in the Premier Division. The loser drops to the Losers Bracket.

The two losing teams will also play on Tuesday, 23rd at 21:15 CET in the Losers Bracket. The loser of this match will have to play the season in Division 1. While the winner advances to play the loser of the Winners Bracket.

This final match will happen on Thursday, 25th at 21:15CET. The winner will then advance to the Premier Division, while the loser will join the other Division 1 teams.

This Playoff will be handled as a Single Elimination Cup. Winners takes all!

Both matches will happen on Tuesday, 23rd at 21:15CET. The losers go to Division 2, the winners advance to the Final.

The Final will then happen either on Wednesday, 24th at 21:15 CET (in case Boys in Spandex will beat 20$yl) or on Thursday, 25th at 21:15 CET (in case 20$yl will beat Boys in Spandex). The winner will then join Division 1, while the loser will have to spend Season 19 in Division 2.

Edit: Boys in Spandex have decided to settle for Division 2. And Animate eSports and wookiez agreed on duking it out on Thursday 25th at 21:15 CET with The MIPC Organization advancing to Division 1 after beating Animate eSports.

Staff Changes

After his great professional contribution to the AC team for over 1 year and stepping his way up to Head AC Admin, we are wishing Lazybear goodbye.  Lazybear was an influential member of the AC team and will be sorely missed. He brought many new ideas to the table along with a professional attitude to all his work. We wish him well in all his future endeavours.

kindred has proven to be eager and hard working and has been promoted to full AC. Congratulations!

ducky has also made use of the month he was with us so far and has therefore been promoted to full 6v6 admin. Congratulations!

Bans

Some players have been spotted with recent VAC bans affecting Team Fortress 2 and thus are now banned from ETF2L for 1 year:

As these players have not been caught cheating by our staff, their match results are not affected.

The following players have been caught cheating by our Anti-Cheat team.  They will be banned from ETF2L for 1 year:

The following player has not provided a requested demo for the third time in a row. He will be banned from ETF2L for 2 months.

Anti-Cheat Staff Applications

With Lazybear stepping down, we are once again looking to trial one more person to join the AC staff. Users that have already attempted applying for AC staff can also re-apply.

AC members need to have a good sense of trust and morality, additionally be excited by detective work & technical aspects of the source engine that come with demo viewing and cheats and such. It’s also important to have no bias and be respectful of the democratic process on voting.

Please don’t be intimidated to apply, it’s a position that you can really only improve on with real experience.

Check these guidelines for a more in-depth description of the application process. If you don’t fill out the application properly, we will likely deny your application. Promising candidates with an extensive application will be interviewed and welcomed to staff.
