It’s finals time already? It seems only yesterday that rash promises to produce weekly articles were made, self-imposed word count limits were abandoned and players hoping to hide a bad game in the backwater of a rarely viewed log suddenly found themselves called out on the league homepage.

The final act of the regular season saw SUAVE cleaning up their remaining fixtures against two playoff hopefuls who needed to topple the class of the field to fulfil their playoff dream. Would SUAVE’s players be able to claim their top rankings, apparently lost to lesser lights through inactivity?

Season 19 powered by Tt eSPORTS – Week 6: E-SHOCK ESPORT vs Übersexuals

The regular season is coming to an end tonight with the last match being between Salty Frogs and SUAVE. As you might remember, at the beginning of the season Salty Frogs were not even in the premiership but tonight with 3 points they have a chance to make it in to the playoffs which would be the icing on top of a season that has already exceeded expectations. SUAVE have a guaranteed playoff spot already but they need at least a point to secure their place in the grand final. With rumours of some players not being available for them tonight this could be a more close affair than it seems on paper. Can the frenchies pull it off and advance into the playoffs?

The dragons lock horns this week, ETF2L Season 5 Champions Kill Switch squaring off against UGC finalist Tourettes Chessclub. After a shock draw with hePPa, Kill Switch should be looking to get back on track, albeit over a rocky road. Tourettes Chessclub will also be looking to get the maximum amount of points out of this fixture obtaining a well earned top 3 placement. Season 19 powered by Tt eSPORTS: Playoffs for (almost) everyone

With week 7 already under way and the Premiership Playoffs on the horizon. Things are certainly heating up in terms of knockout competitions. However with pleasure we can announce that there is not just going to be just playoffs for these elite veterans of ETF2L, there will be playoffs for (almost) all divisions! They will feature prizes ranging from killstreaks kits and cosmetics so kindly given to us by TF2Pickup.net. Maincall.tf have also pitched in by coming up with the initial idea [which was then expanded from one division to (almost) all divisions by ETF2L] as well as donating keys and some dirty cash to get your grubby hands on. Not to mention a pile of keys donated by Arie from serveme.tf!

These playoffs will feature teams from each group in their respective division. These divisional playoffs will take place during November 30th – December 14th. Teams will be able to get byes as well as have to go through extra rounds of these playoffs by taking as many points as possible, taking into the account of dropped teams. Games will be played in a BO3 format with the map elimination system for choosing the maps.  Since there is a different amount of groups in every division, different tournament formats will be used for every divisional playoff.
