We are saddened to announce that Solid will be leaving the AC team. Solid has done a lot of volunteer work for ETF2L throughout the years. Bettering the experience for players in the league. We wish him well in all his future endeavors. A warm welcome to Capu, as he has finished his trial and is promoted to AC staff.

Bans

The following players have been caught cheating by our Anti-Cheat team. They will be banned from ETF2L for one year:

Anti-Cheat Staff Applications

The AC staff is recruiting again, aiming to fill the gap left by Solid. We’re looking for two individuals who want to make a difference and better the experience for all players of the league. We also encourage users that have already attempted applying for AC to reapply.

AC members need to be trustable and have a good sense of morality, as well as being excited by the detective work and the technical aspects of the source engine that comes with demo viewing and cheats and such. It’s also important to avoid having bias and be respectful of the democratic process on voting.

Please don’t be intimidated to apply, as it’s a position that you can really only improve on with real experience. As Anti-Cheat is such a closed field, applicants aren’t required to have extensive experience to be considered. Feel free to contact us in IRC with !acrequest if you have any questions.

Check these guidelines for a more in-depth description of the application process. If you don’t fill out the application properly, we will likely deny your application. Promising candidates with an extensive application will be interviewed and welcomed to staff.

Final week, woop! That means everyone’s favourite map is back in action, pl_badwater. Bringing in the horses for this one first off is Budget Toucans vs. PremTech (so….PremTech!). Both teams are locked in the middle of the table at 4th and 5th, a win for PremTech will propel them into joint 3rd with Super Dickmann's KANNONEN! while a victory for Budget Toucans will earn them a move up to 3rd place also but with room to spare.
