Politically correct pander – a team that could go down as one of the most unplayable teams in 10 years of European gimmicks, led by one of the most experienced players in all of TF2, Hildreth. Although they have little experience in top-tier 6v6, the massive highlander experience they have could give them some coordination other teams just don’t have. One player especially worth watching on this team is Muuki, who plays ‘flex’ – a mixture of engineer, sniper, pyro, spy, heavy and even some soldier in especially wild situations.

However, this isn’t Overwatch. This is TF2. And Unexpected will be looking to prove that flex can’t work in prem, with seasoned players like Turbo and T0m teaming up with some much newer, but bright, stars. Funs especially has simply been improving season upon season, and if he continues on his current trajectory could be a scout of the season contender. Can they begin their run to playoffs here, or will Lowpander gain an impressive first week victory?

This will be the prem debut for the entire nunya team, whereas Arctic Foxes is filled with players such as the uber-accomplished prem veteran schocky, who has more games in Premiership than the other 11 players in this matchup combined. Pairing up with him on scout is ZYKAZ, one of the best players in high last season, if not the best, and a mechanically strong/ultiduo nerd medic in Raptor, who has dabbled in premiership before. This lineup looks like a team to beat going into the season, and it’ll be difficult to justify not achieving playoffs. Making a strong start here could set the tone for their whole season.

nunya, however, is a completely unknown quantity, but they should be respectable after coming through the playoffs in two straight wins, including besting WARHURYEAH and lippy, both long-standing premiership talent. They should not be underestimated, and could be a one to watch in the season to come.

Season 11 is slowly drawing to a close, which can only mean one thing…..FINALS BOYS! Tonight we have Tourettes Chessclub vs. Super Dickmann's KANNONEN! in a face off in the Lower Bracket final where the winner will progress to the Grand Final to play Strong Opinions while the loser will walk away with a meek 3rd place earned. During the season, Super Dickmann's KANNONEN! drew with Tourettes Chessclub in Week 6 with Product and Warmtic up for grabs while in Round 1 of playoffs, Tourettes Chessclub jumped out in front for an early lead with a 6-3 victory after a 3-map battle on Coalplant, Product & Gullywash with Super Dickmann's KANNONEN!. Tonight though will reveal the true colours of either side as this Best Of 3 match will decide who gets to leap for a chance at glory and who ends up with the classic egg-on-vest to take home. Most things have to come to an end and so it is time for me to end my reign over ETF2L. It has been over five years since I decided I wanted to become an admin and the motivation and passion that once fueled this decision slowly but steadily faded away over the last year or so. I did not think it would come to this, as my initial plan was to just be there until the end, but priorities are changing over time. There is not enough interest and motivation left in me to justify being in charge of this league any longer. Half assing something I spent so much time and effort in to build and see it not progressing because I am unable to commit enough time just does not sit right with me. Therefore, the time has come for me to let go and give others a chance.
Effective immediately Aoshi and DCS are promoted to Head Administrators of ETF2L. I will stop being an executive member of the admin team all together. This is a decision that was made back in December and it was prepared ever since then. So this is no hasty or sudden change, instead both of my successors have been briefed and prepared ever since then to guarantee a smooth transition. After all I will continue to be around in a mediating or advising role if needed and requested.
I am grateful for the experiences I was able to gather and the people I was able to meet, play and work with in this time. Ahead of all others I want to mention IPZIE and smziii who I count among of my best friends. Also a big shout-out to everyone who ever contributed, is still contributing or will contribute in the future to the competitive TF2 scene, after all we are a self-sustained community driven scene that held on to this point without any major external support.
My role within ETF2L may come to an end here, but I am sure the competitive scene will continue to advance without me.

In case you do not find your team in this list, you were likely removed because you had between 1 and 5 players, in this case you have to gather 6 players in your roster and sign up for Season 26 again or you changed your name during signup process, just check for an old team name. We will try and get as many teams into the season as possible before week 1 starts. This is also a reminder that we will leave the signups open until the start of week 3 for late signups.
