Highlander Nations Cup #5: Announcement

With Highlander Season 12 over but for the last playoff games and award poll – It is time for the best players of each country to group up together and prove that their country is the best!

The Cup will feature a Group Stage and a single-elimination Tournament, and will take place throughout June and July. Each country will be represented by one team consisting out of players of the same nationality, led by a Captain chosen through the applications process.

It’s that time of the year folks!

Another season comes to end as we reach the Grand Final of what has been an interesting and exciting number of weeks. From the red corner, unsurprisingly, Strong Opinions are back to defend their title as ‘The Best Highlander Team in Europe’ since Season 9. In the blue corner, their challengers are none other than Super Dickmann's KANNONEN!, by many regarded as the team with the skill and resolve to take the throne off the reigning champions.

The Grand Final of the High division is upon us!

Tonight the somewhat unexpected clash between CRAZYBWAII Clan and kiti s bakenbardami will leave us with a brand new team joining the ranks as winners of High!

Of the teams that did not get relegated from Season 26 only  Se7en, Arctic Foxes, top5rocket, and  Politically correct pander have kept their rosters intact. This means there are four open spots in the Premiership. Which teams will fill those spots is to be determined by the preseason playoffs. In total 12 teams will be competing in an almost double elimination system which can be seen here or in the competitions tab.

The playoffs will be double elimination except for the first round, losers of the first round will not go to the lower bracket they will be knocked out. Each game will be a best of three maps using equal seeded map elimination.
