Spend less time asking about how to play the game and more time playing the game. This is genuine advice, as far too many people say they "just want tips" but they'd do way better if they just played the game. Sorry if this is a bump.

Wait a minute...
You want to get better, you know that practice is the only way, and yet you come here asking for help. Am i missing something here?

Some kind of setting adjustments, maybe a word from the higher level players or anything like that. Practice is what I'm doing but I'm looking for something that will help out with the practice making it easier or anything like that. Just tips.
Something like hr said:

Quoted from hr

I feel like dm is good to learn movement patterns but for warmup I like tr_walkway and doing the thing where you track bots as they go on the launchpad.
Watch some demos see where scouts position themselves and what they do in certain situations but most of all just play scrims.

P.S: Thanks for all the replies so far
