every good team should have tactics and also every class should have objectives so not sure how we can help you especially when you gave us a demo from lobby
i didn't watch the demo but it's a payload and you are a scout so your main goal on blu is pushing cart, trying to push the flank when you can't push the cart and play with the team, not alone
on defense rushing sniper when it's possible, sometimes look around your sniper to keep him safe and hold flank, when you need help on flank just call it and someone like soldier should help you
also you can watch demos from higher division players and compare their playing style with your
and also v2, playing tf2center probably won't help you in getting gamesense, would be better to you to start playing pickups or even better play on a main spot with your team, or both :D

Apologies for the scrubby question, but how do I switch pov's between each member in a replay? Or can I not do that?

If you want a stronger aim play some DM and some MGE, as well as some tr_walkway or whatever. Too much MGE will make you worse at the game so be careful about that.

If you want get better positioning you should watch some high div HL games. Watch Dennia from Kill Switch or something. I heard he's actually good now.

If you want to get better at the actual game you might wanna get plying at higher divs as much as possible, or just play as many decent matches as possible.

If you don't want die sometime, bring a soldier with you.

Badlands is not played in highlander, though. It doesn't have to be your best map or anything, I just think it would be easier to give criticism on a game where you dont push a cart half of the time :)
