ok, sorted it. I put -autoconfig in the start menu thingy and it reset to default. Changed my res back to 1440x900 and then took it out of the start menu and now it works fine. Google ftw!

Cheers anyway Chris, fyi I is total PC n00balicious. Beyond anyone you've ever met before I would imagine. I didn't even know about the start menu untill about 2 months ago. I've only been playing tf2 since the orange box came out. Ultra fail.

I would like it to run full screen and not in a window at all if possible, also I'd like to know why it happened too so I don't do it again.

If I run it at 1440x900 I still miss out some of the screen, netgraph etc, 'cos of the window.

Hi I have a problem which seems to have been caused by the pldx recording tool.

I normally just use the 1280 x 720 resolution when I use it but thought I’d try it at my monitors resolution, 1440 x 900, which worked fine. However now whenever I start TF2 it starts in windowed mode at that resolution. I went back to the standard 720p resolution and closed it down, double clicked my TF2 Desktop icon and….it opened at 1440×900 resolution. Now it always opens at that resolution.

I tried another resolution in the custom bit and it started opening at that resolution next. Basically whatever I set the pldx custom resolution too, my tf2 will obey, even if pldx is open or not. This seems quite strange.

I have no start menu options and I set it to run ‘maximised’ in steam, all to no avail. Any help much appreciated.
