I had huge problems getting configs to work on our multiplay server. That was until I found out the magic ingredient (the ServerID).
You can find your serverid by logging into clanforge and expanding the details of your TF2 server. Ours is a 5 digit number yours should be similar.

the rcon command is:
rcon exec xxxxx/etf2l
where xxxxx is your ServerID

You can also set up an alias in your server config such as

alias "etf2l" "exec xxxxx/etf2l.cfg"

and then just rcon etf2l for the config

We load the etf2l cfg as normal, but for whatever reason, sv_pauseable never ever works? I have to put it in manually.

Any ideas how to fix? Really have no clue about server cfg's/ftp etc... :)

Save (allow serv to restart)

Then it'll be uploaded to your serv that way.
