I've had this problem and was surprised that noone else has experienced it. What you need to do is running the pldx config just load the .dem. Then using the scrollwheel on your mouse just fast forward to the part in the demo that you want and then when you're getting near to it then just slow it down to normal speed and record it. Takes a long time but that's te best thing you can do. Then you are going to need to either press f10 (which is exit TF2 in the pldx cfg) or just alt-tab and normally TF2 will crash and you can reload it :D

So, here's my problem : i try to watch a demo, but during the said game i got in my backpack to select an unlock. At this specific moment of the demo file, i cant control anything anymore. Cant click on pause or anything, cant quit the game, i click but its like nothing is responding. Cant even go in the console.

Anyone has this problem before? Any solution?
