Look at them, yeah, but this an entirely unrelated thread -- in general you should create one thread per topic.

You should really create new threads for new issues instead of reviving old ones, Monkeh...

Anyway, just set the TF2 launch options you want to play with within Steam (launch options dialog), what you want to reverse PLDX resolution changes is -w [width] -h [height]

Hi I have a problem which seems to have been caused by the pldx recording tool.

I normally just use the 1280 x 720 resolution when I use it but thought I'd try it at my monitors resolution, 1440 x 900, which worked fine. However now whenever I start TF2 it starts in windowed mode at that resolution. I went back to the standard 720p resolution and closed it down, double clicked my TF2 Desktop icon and....it opened at 1440x900 resolution. Now it always opens at that resolution.

I tried another resolution in the custom bit and it started opening at that resolution next. Basically whatever I set the pldx custom resolution too, my tf2 will obey, even if pldx is open or not. This seems quite strange.

I have no start menu options and I set it to run 'maximised' in steam, all to no avail. Any help much appreciated.

go to the moviefiles folder.
There rename the scripts, resource1 and resource2 folders to something else.
Then create an empty scripts folder
Then create a resource1 folder. In the resource1 folder create a empty ui folder.
Do the same with resource2 as you did with resource1.
