ISPs have a terrible reputation, especially ours... One more note is that so far I've only seen javascript files transmitted over http fail, https makes them work without problem (inb4 NSA spying), looks like HTTPS everywhere has a rule for reddit that's disabled by default, enabling that and reddit works without problems.
