If other computers are also affected, I'd contact your ISP and explain the issue to them.

ISPs have a terrible reputation, especially ours...

One more note is that so far I've only seen javascript files transmitted over http fail, https makes them work without problem (inb4 NSA spying), looks like HTTPS everywhere has a rule for reddit that's disabled by default, enabling that and reddit works without problems. Still looking for actual cause.

OK I managed to login, further details:

Using NoScript/AdblockPlus to block the specific URLs that fail (all of them were javascript files) works, however in certain cases there's a loss of functionality (the email I use for my steam account needs javascript so I can login, and steam guard forces me to deal with it).

Restarting the router makes some URLs work for less than a minute, then everything starts failing again.

It is most certainly not a DNS thing as I can ping those hosts perfectly as well as the problem persists between GoogleDNS and OpenDNS. So far it looks like it's a router/modem issue so I'll continue my search with that in mind.

Example of how it looks like on logs.tf: http://i.imgur.com/mtX7lcg.png
The failure of bootstrap.min.002.js pretty much breaks logs.tf (cannot search) but I can view a matchpage if I'm given the URL...

Hello, I'm posting this for casual because of his issue..

Casual:
I'm having issues loading certain websites, it'll spend forever (about 1min) loading and then displays the website I'm trying to visit with some errors (some functions don't work). The exact same symptoms (with different time-outs) occur in Firefox (my main browser with fucktons of plugins), Chrome (vanilla) and Internet Explorer (vanilla).

I've looked at what exactly is failing with Chrome's developer tools, a selection of URLs that fail consistently (until they time-out):

www.google-analytics.com/ga.js
pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js
pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js
ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js
static.adzerk.net/Extensions/adFeedback.js
www.redditstatic.com/.png '304 NotModified', all fine
www.redditstatic.com/.js time-out

Websites I tested that were affected:
reddit.com, etf2l.org, teamfortress.tv (all get stuck on the same resources)

Pinging these hosts work without problems.

I tried restarting browser, restarting computer, restarting router/modem.

Due to the nature of the problem I was not able to come up with search terms for the problem. Can anyone help me out?
