Looked it up, and I think you're right. I'm not really into the AMD apus, I just knew the 5600 had OK integrated graphics xD. And I agree, bones' build doesn't seem too bad either.

GPU: AMD HD 7750
CPU: Intel G2020
Motherboard: ASRock B75
RAM: 4GB, check the manual on the motherboard you intend on purchasing for which memory sticks are validated for the board.
HDD: A generic 500GB seagate should be cheap enough.
PSU: Corsair CX430

This should leave you at about 300£(pounds - I presume). But with a 300£ computer she won't be pushing stable 300 fps any time soon, but it'll get the job done.

There's nothing wrong with Bones choice either, plus it saves time building it etc.

this way you get a 1 year warranty and you dont have to build it yourself. plus you get a intel which should trump the AMD mentioned above for single core performance and you actually get a graphics card which I think was missed off the build above.

So my gf wants a pc that can play tf2 as well as all the general pc shit.

I've built 2 pc's before with minimal problems so feel confident putting it together, just pretty clueless when it comes to ordering the components. What can go together, what is needed to run tf2 etc.

So yeah budget is anywhere up to 300 can go higher but the lower the better, I already have a spare monitor and other peripherals only need the actual pc components.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance guys
