If you are getting some "client has loaded extra file" sv_pure errors, it's a bug when you are switching to a server that has a different sv_pure value/whitelist than the one you already were in. The only solution to fix it is to restart the game. It's been reported a lot of times to Valve but they don't really seem to care about it.

I get kicked instantly for having /scripts/

Some public servers have DBlocker installed which doesn't allow clients with "surfaceproperties.txt." to join. Just avoid these. Never heard of lobby servers having that kind of block tho.

tf/bin.

You're probably referring to client.dll. Check this solution
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9830-WGBN-8782
or try verifying integrity of game cache

try using an fps config if you're running tf2 on an old machine
http://fakkelbrigade.eu/chris/configs/
Also try to defragment your hard drive, it might faster the game loading process

I'm new to TF2 scene and I already ran into a problem. I don't know if I'm stupid for not figuring this out but whatever. Whenever I fully connect to a server I get kicked instantly for having addons/scripts/some file in tf/bin. After I remove this file it tells me to, and restart the game (which also takes more than 5 minutes everytime for unknown reason) I've either lost the spot or it tells me to remove ANOTHER file. This happened for 3 times in a row now and I'm kinda fed up with it. So if anyone knows what might be causing it, I'd be more than glad to hear it.
