Then it's definatly your CMOS battery. You will have to open your system and replace that battery yourself. I think you should be able to buy those at any handystore, at least you can here.

It's important to replace it quickly, and that will solve your problems :)

Was worth a try for the DQS but not all BIOS show the DQS settings.

Your system clock problem sounds interesting though. Could you check your timezone, and DST (day light savings). It is a little checkbox when you adjust the timezone. Just to be safe. Otherwise it might be your CMOS battery, which powers your system clock. Which could also explain the memory error you are getting. If the system clock isnt functioning anymore because its going dead, your RAM might have problems aligning with your CPU thus giving a DQS event.

The CMOS battery isnt expensive, but I would first check the windows settings concerning your timezone/DST.

@ ipz: You could also try locating DQS settings in your BIOS. If you can find the option (advanced settings probably) try setting it to "default", or "off" if that is a viable option.

get an empty USB key and let it run, then set the boot priority in the BIOS to USB KEY or something. I dont think the RAM is really the problem, but it's good to be on the safe side.
