really!? why are mac gamers always complaining then? why does windoes emulation (like wine etc) even exist?

so in theory tf2 for mac on a macbook pro SHOULD run better than on the windows partition if only because OSX is more tightly integrated with the hardware? or are they the same performance?

Cheers for info :)

Bootcamp is relatively new, emulators have been around for longer. They can be handy for accessing utilities in Windows whilst working in mac os. Mac gamers complain about the support of games in Mac OS, it's got nothing to do with boot camp capabilities.

TF2 for mac is always going to be worse than TF2 for win, just as it's worse on consoles. Development and support will be focused on the larger user group. It'll have more bugs, less FPS, let alone what challenges will be to customize with Huds and configs.

It's a simple matter, if you want to play games the best possible way, use Windows.

One question, is windows 7 gaming on a mac EXACTLY the same (performance, mouse accel etc etc etc) or? like when you emulate using wine you get a performance hit, i take it should be fine with windows 7 partition
