Probably because your settings we incorrect. I've set one up at LAN before with no issues.]]></description>

    	    <description><![CDATA[Well you have a 2 options.

1) Run a "listen server", which is just a fancy name for typing "map cp_badlands" into your TF2's console while at the main menu, and then having your friend connect. Doing it that way means your copy of tf2 running on your PC is doubling as the server. Unfortunately you can't install sourcemod on a client (thanks valve for removing this purposely).

2) Set up a dedicated server. What I would say is this is a bit more effort than it sounds, but once it's set up its not too difficult. <a href="http://www.srcds.com/db/engine.php?subaction=showfull&#38;id=1097362093" rel="nofollow">Here's</a> a brilliant how-to on it.
