Antec 300 is good temperature wise haven't had a problem, loads of space as well. If you want to use the front stereo jacks though you'll get a weird crackling noise. For some reason it's grounded through the mobo (normal) but also the case. To fix it you need to break open the box at the front containing the jacks and usbs and cut the case ground for the audio out. I haven't bothered. By the time I figured out how to fix it I had gotten used to it and have no desire to fuck anything up. If you use the jacks on your mobo or a usb headset you should be fine.

Pick a PSU from here:

As for the case it's really personal preference but decent ones are cm690, cm haf 912, antec 300.

My Antec 900 is older than the 300 and runs cooler....so that logic is out of the window.

But I like the price of it, if shit fits its an option. But can be cheaper. Its just for my little bro. If it lacks fans but has room for 120mm ones it's also cool, I've got plenty of those.

Needs to be able to hold a high cpu cooler (tuniq tower, the old one not the newest) and a GTX260. CPU will be a e6600@3.4ghz. So 500watts should do it I guess. The case can be as cheap as possible as long as it keeps things at ok temps. I was going with the Antec Sonata, but maybe you guys have a better suggestion.
