wow, negative accel on the abyssus, if there is any its like impossible to detect it manually. it can handle fast moves without any problem really. And you don't have positive accel like on some other mice neither, anyway i can tell you that having played with a lot of mice, even the mouse that has some accel like the g9x (awesome sensor btw, one of the best i tried!Well on this mouse its way better than with the Xai), that has the few positive accel you have is really not influying your aim. Anyway good aimers don't need especially the perfect sensor you will always find a defaut with it, i would say the most important with a mouse is the shape, and i can tell you that the abyssus have a very confortable shape especially if you love small mice.
I know a lot of friends that plays well using mouse like the kinzu that his famous for having at the same time neg/pos accel + prediction and that are going well it only because the shape is pretty nice.

i use claw grip so those mice are too big for me. the mx518 has predicition which is bad (for me) also the polling rate dosnt default at 500hz so it has to be overclocked, which isnt that stable. also the center of gravity on those mice are a little off compared to ambidextrs mice i like. Watch the review of the zowie, the guy cannt physically make it reach its malfunction speed or notice any neg/pos accel!

When I played on razer abyssus I noticed much neg-accel. Also before I moved to mx518 I had been using claw-grip for 2-3 years and I got used to mx518 and holding it correctly for 2 weeks.
<3 mx518 :p

dunno what you are talking about "stable" 1000hz, all recent mouses are running stable 1000hz now. its not like MX518 or the WMO where you had to unlock the USB port to have 500hz, and if you were trying to unlock it to 1000hz you only had 700hz very unstable.

i can confirm you there is no angle prediction, and no more jittering since the firmware has been updated directly from manufactors since like more than 1 year, you can still have the risk to receive an old one from the 1st production that do have jitters (thats if you are very very unlucky, like taking it from a shop of south africa or so ;) ...)

cheers for the info, but after further research i think im gunna give the zowie mico a go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aNYX26Gu8M&feature=player_embedded

Thinking about trying this mouse, but i notice it can only poll at 125Hz and 1000Hz. The problem is that MOST mice i have tried at 1000Hz have a really unstable report rate when compared to say 125Hz or 500Hz. Could any one who has this mouse take a screen shot whilst there running mouse rate checker or somthing similair?
Cheers
