putting the funny polygon topic on side have u checked temps? usually long freezes are caused by overheating... or if ur over exaggerating again and 5sec freeze actually is only .5 - 1sec freeze then thats normal in tf2 now edit: oh and disable/whitelist steam folder in ur Antivirus
I have 460gtx OC edition which comes with two fans so I don't think overheating is a problem, I thought this maybe it but it doesn't seem to happen on any other game include games which are more demanding.
