quite good a good guide for understanding how keys work etc and helping you find they type of keys you would prefer

mx blues are predominantly designed for typists, blacks and reds are generally better for gaming, reds are a bit soft though imo

edit: buy Zowie Gear!

Key wise I still think Cherry Brown is the best. It has good tactile feedback without the sound of blue's. So get a Zowie Celeritas if you want to buy a gaming brand, otherwise just get a Filco/Ducky/Leopold with browns. I really dislike cherry blacks. If you do want blacks the steel series keyboards are a good choice, because they are really cheap (the 6Gv2 at least).

did you tried both at least ? :)

Maybe both keyboards are awesome, but I don't like Razers products except their mousemat Razer Destructor.
Their mechanical keyboards has shitloads of stupid macro options or other stuff which you don't need or which you never use.
They are not durable and I doubt that Razers keyboard has USB to PS2 adapter. Meka G1 does and as far as I know, your keyboard will have more responses throught USB PS2 adapter than throught normal USB port.

But sorry, I just don't see a reason in buying Razer Blackwidow Ultimate which costs 130 euros and which differs from Meka G1 only by buttons which glows @ night in blue colour, if I can buy MEKA g1 which is alot cheaper and even has better mechanical buttons than the Razer one. I am not sure, but Meka G1 should cost around 50-70 euros, not sure, because there is no price information at ttesports.com website, I just have seen the prices somewhere, don't remember where.

Build quality I'd say the Meka, because the Razer one has some sort of coating that wears off. + you can more easily get new keycaps for the Meka by the looks of it (standard Filco/steelseries/ducky). I didn't use both, I did try the switch types on other keyboards though.

Filco's here in plenty of weird layouts: http://www.keyboardco.com/ (don't get put off by the web 1.0 website, its a great shop)

I got a 104 us layout with browns. I would have gone for a tenkeyless if I didn't use the numpad a lot.

Btw you can just move keycaps around, because every row has a slightly different height. For example, on a qwerty keyboard you can swap around the qwertyuiop with each other if you want, but asdfghjkl are shaped differently. If you manage to get a full keyset azerty layout you can swap them around, but be sure to check if the enter and the left shift are the same. There are some differences in that across different keyboard layouts.
