nopes vista, yeah according to speedfan cores 28-30...

just read something online, someone with the exact same problem, draining the flea power seemed to temp fix, but the system board might need replacing or something because its not picking up the temps and causing a sticky keyboard and touchpad :(

edit: keyboard is acting weird / laggy and touchpad doesn't work!!!!!??!

better prepare a burial

edit: jokes aside: make sure you did not by accident turn on full fan speed/turn off the touchpad, which can be done on my laptop as well (function key + f1/f2). Might be pretty much it.

heyhey

So my laptop was running perfect yesterday evening while I was revising for Uni exams in the library. I closed the screen down and put the laptop into my bag. When I re-opened it when I got home the fan went on full and wouldn't stop unless I turned it off.

As soon as I start up my laptop the fan goes on full? Its defo not overheating, core temps are like 28degrees at the moment.... skyride advised I check the bios settings but I have literally no clue what I'm looking at...

It's a dell studio 1535...if you need any other details let me know.

If anyone can help I will love you forever because its really loud and annoying :)
