So you have a wireless router plugged into your modem which is plugged into your microfilter at the wall? Try directly plugging into the modem and not the wireless router
Yeah that's what I did. That cable didn't manage to connect, but a cable from the router to my LAN port managed to connect. Which utterly bamboozles me, because one would assume that jacking in the cable straight from the modem would give full connectivity D: so that's the core of my problem, I have NO IDEA whether its the cable, router, LAN port or just plain fail luck :( Edit: also tried switching ports, but problem persists. I am utterly befuddled.
