I formated my computer back in september and since then I've been timing out from the first server I've joined every time I launch TF2. That's not too bad, very overcomeable. However for the last week I've been getting more timeouts, completely blocking me off some forms of gameplay. I've not timed out of one single match server yet, but it's happening alot on pubs. The worst case seems to be the nervousenergy MGE servers where I have a granted timeout after about 30 seconds. It's also happening randomly on pubs. I can't really see any pattern, and I'm a retard when it comes to computers, so nothing has been tried so far. Any bright ideas please?

It is based on the router, but it's not a dying router.

It's how the router handles the port usage afaik

"Steam Validation Rejected" or something. But then after a minute or so when the server realizes I've timed out I can reconnect just fine, and get another time out.
