I also have freezing problems. When the freeze occurs, Windows will notify me of a re-initialized video driver. The freeze can be 5 seconds or 1.5 minute. If it takes long I will time out on the server, but I won't have to close the game cause it will respond again after that short period.

When it freezes the screen goes black and the sound loops. This is different from the more "common" problem, because my game actually responds again after X seconds. I will try the mat_queue thing anyway.
dont use dx9 cfg, thats the w7 and dx9 cfg bug

Hello.
Two weeks ago I did a new cfg with compton's TF2mate beta website (http://clugu.com/tf2mate/) and I'm getting some random freeze problems.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall TF2 but the problem still persists.
I also tried all steam stuffs.

I have gotten :
- "chris' highframes" for graphics.
- "m0re's connection settings" for network settings.

Before, I owned "m0refps" cfg.

There is my launch options :
-dxlevel 81 -window -noborder -w 1440 -h 900 -freq 60 -console -nojoy -noipx -novid -useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd

So, my problem is completely random. Indeed when I'm playing, someone will join the server, or a round ends and a new begin etc..
And suddenly my game starts to freeze at regular intervals.

Need help :/
Thanks.
