I don't think this is intentional. After all, they have this rule that all the premiership players have to upload their POV demos from Season 8. Every registered user has the rights to view the 'team admin' bit - if you don't, you're not redirected to your profile, you're redirected to the login page. you know, logic...the demo uploading thing is on the TEAM ADMIN site, so only the ppl with admin rights are allowed to enter to that part
Editing your profile is also on the "team admin" page; so much for logic!
